New pop hope Griff turns in a splendid live performance of Black Hole in Thomas Ralph's film shot at the newly restored Hackney Church. In the process it&nbsp;shifts from infinite darkness to space and light, and then back and forth between day and night.Griff is initially seen against total blackness - actually a&nbsp;black infinity wall that&nbsp;is revealed as such when the camera moves outwards to reveal the location and the teenage singer's fellow musicians. Then the church is revealed and a sense of space and light streaming from a giant stained glass window is a real mood-lifter.Most importantly of all, Griff reveals herself as a genuinely exciting talent with a great version of this excellent song.[imgtoken data:1]

Danish director Nina Holmgren has created a gorgeous showcase for the rising singer Justine Skye, that's also a knowing commentary on our obsessive relationship with screen technology - and features some notable members of Skye's celebrity fanbase.In the video for Intruded - which is bookended by two other tracks from her debut album Space &amp; Time - Skye is the glamorous figure in various scenarios that riff upon corporatism, surveillance culture, outmoded yet classic technology and voyeurism.Whether she's surrounded by rows of CCTV cameras, or banks of TVs and DV cams, Skye is the cool, self-possessed, high-fashioned presence in a&nbsp;range of visceral textures, from vinyl to leather to silk.[imgtoken data:1]The cameras carry multiple images of the singer from the range of cameras, and also of the notable others - Timbaland, who produced her album, Lil Yachty and Bella Hadid, the latter uttering random phrases.Holmgren was influenced by the pioneering video artist Naim June Paik, with at least one explicit nod to his screen-based artworks. And this is something of a work of art in itself. A wonderfully crafted work by a director with a forceful eye.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Filmed for an episode of&nbsp;The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in late January, Samuel Taylor captures this riveting performance by Fontaines D.C., performing the title track of the Grammy-nominated A Hero's Death&nbsp;in the Auld Shillelagh pub in Stoke Newington, London.In Sam Taylor's words it's "one of the thinnest pubs in London town", which DoP Eira Wyn Jones has lit beautifully, colour-coding different parts of the room.&nbsp;Kudos to Steadicam op Jake Whitehouse too, for negotiating this tricky space - moving up and down the length of the pub through the band and Guinness-supping regulars - to capture&nbsp;the live version in one hypnotic take.Unfortunately, it's the closest to the inside of a pub that you will get this weekend. Cheers anyway.

Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes once more takes up directing duties on the band's latest release, to impressive effect.For the video for Teardrops&nbsp;– taken from their new EP Post Human: Survival Horror&nbsp;-&nbsp;Sykes draws on his personal relationship with depression channelling it into the visual representation of him drowning.This&nbsp;involved him spending a full day filming in an underwater tank, and this is juxtaposed with Sykes' lonely bedsit world, a combination of the mundane and highly symbolic. It's a horror, where the Sykes's saviours turn out to be his fellow bandmembers.&nbsp;&nbsp;“It is my favourite song off the record," says Sykes.&nbsp;"I’m so excited to get this single out, it feels like a classic Bring Me The Horizon tune but without it feeling like anything we’ve done before. Basak Erol pulls out all the stops for Nothing But Thieves' Real Love Song, creating an epic fantasy around the heartache and turmoil that surrounds love and sex in the modern world.The live action story of a love triangle is given a dreamlike hue&nbsp;in lurid neon, intercut with the band's equally dreamlike studio performance. Then the imaginations and frustrations of the protagonists are given free rein as they become animated versions of themselves in an&nbsp;alternate dimension.Erol utlised her own skills as a 3D animator, and also collaborated on the 2D animation with hugely talented illustrator and animator Raman Djafari. The end result is a&nbsp;breathless whirlwind to match the band's latest emotional piledriver.&nbsp;

A nighttime accident sets off an unusual chain of events in&nbsp;Grandmas' vision for Larkins' Are We Having Any Fun Yet?&nbsp;Having been taken out by a car, frontman Josh Noble stumbles through a maze of underpasses, streets and traffic, crossing paths with a series of enigmatic strangers&nbsp;who look just as out of place as he does.&nbsp;Each character has an unusually calm demeanour&nbsp;and a fascination with Noble, which questions&nbsp;whether this is just a really unlucky night, or a visualisation of him crossing the life/death boundary following the accident.&nbsp;Beautifully shot by DoP Harry Wheeler, the heavy grain and vibrant colour palette creates a strangely hyperrealist aesthetic, punctuated by moments of surrealism and introspection.&nbsp;
