Khalid's song New Normal was premiered with a live performance at&nbsp;Virgin Galactic’s Unity 22 Spaceflight launch earlier this month, and in keeping with that, the video directed by Andy Hines reflects a positive take on technology.It features the singer in an idealised version of the near&nbsp;future - a non-dystopian&nbsp;interpretation that&nbsp;almost feels revolutionary. It's an appealing vision, with VFX from UK company We Are Covert.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Moses Sumney gives into his darkest, most satisfying impulses in the self-directed video for Cut Me.Across a collection of surreal, otherworldly vignettes, Sumney runs riot in an abandoned hospital with two other patients- dancing on caskets, performing on stage and taking on the roles of the non-existent staff.The glossy, theatrical art direction places the concept very much in a dream world of Sumney’s creation, blurring the lines between reality and fiction. The performances are top-notch, adding a lively vibrance to the derelict location, and cleverly personifying the complex themes in the track."It is, amongst many things,&nbsp;a satirization of masochism and the medical industrial complex, and a chuckle in the face of Black Death," says Moses Sumney about his directorial debut.&nbsp;"I couldn’t have predicted it’d be released in our current climate. Warren Fu&#39;s new video for Paramore gives frontwoman&nbsp;Hayley Williams a juicy role&nbsp;as an increasingly disillusioned anchorwoman - flanked by her bandmates - on a local TV breakfast news show.With his usual panache Fu presents life on both sides of the camera, as Hayley&#39;s existential crisis leads her to eventually realise why she got in the news game to begin with.It&#39;s obviously part of grand tradition of news channel tragic-comedies from Network to Anchorman, and <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2015/01/26/staves-black-white-jack-whiteley" target="_blank">Jack Whiteley&#39;s video for The Staves</a>. But this is probably the first one to reference the execrable Bill O&#39;Reilly&#39;s <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUFY8Zw0Bag" target="_blank">famous pre-broadcast meltdown</a>.

After establishing the cinematic &#39;70s Hollywood world in the brilliant <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2016/07/13/midnight-monaco-one-million-nicolas-randall-marc-edouard-leon" target="_blank">One In A Million</a>, Nicolas Randall is back with a development of the story in a new video for Midnight to Monaco.Ricky, the aspiring actor from the previous instalment in this gorgeous-looking narrative saga, now has a singing career and this video sees him build up his first track with the help of the manager who &#39;discovered&#39; him in rather illicit circumstances (again, watch the last video for context).Film some excellent production design and styling, combined with legendary locations like East West studios, the video sells itself as a glistening fictional period piece perfectly. Who knows where Ricky&#39;s career will take him next, but you get the feeling his story is not over yet.

Midnight to Monaco 'One Way Ticket' by Nicolas Randall

Nicolas Randall &amp; Marc-Edouard Leon deliver a night-crawling, sleazy and heartbreakingly bleak video for Midnight to Monaco.&nbsp;Tackling the subject of male prostitution in 80s LA was never going to be pretty, and this video makes every scenario seem sinister and cold. Nobody genuinely smiles, there&#39;s no passion in anything seen here and the neon lights of cheap motels illuminate a world cast under Hollywood&#39;s shadow with a sickly glow - beautifully shot, it must be said, by DoP Starr Whitesides.&nbsp;It&#39;s not an easy watch, but it&#39;s certainly a rewarding one - with Midnight To Monaco&#39;s Ricky Ducati convincing&nbsp;in the lead role as the wannabe actor turned hustler.&nbsp;The bookending of the video&nbsp;with a VHS scene adds a sinister, voyeuristic element to a story where the young and the pretty try and thrive and quickly find themselves becoming obsolete.&nbsp;
