Vincent Haycock returns to music videos with an epic display of extraordinary visuals for Kelsey Lu.Shot on Vancouver Island, it starts strangely and slowly, with Lu shovelling dirt in a steaming mud swamp, wearing an increasingly spoiled white dress. But this draws you in to a haunting showcase of songs from the singer and classically trained cellist, delivered in a series of spectacular settings, as she wears a mind-boggling array of couture.Beautifully shot by Haycock&#39;s regular collaborator Evan Prosofsky and styled by Mindy Le Brock, this is a masterful way to invite the viewer to escape into Kelsey Lu&#39;s world and discover her music.

Florence Welch has landed back on solid ground in her video for St. Jude, the melancholic&nbsp;sequel to <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2015/02/16/florence-machine-what-kind-man-vincent-haycock" target="_blank">What Kind Of Man</a>.&nbsp;It&#39;s the second part&nbsp;of the emerging series of videos&nbsp;to&nbsp;compliment her third studio album&nbsp;How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful &ndash; due to be released June 1st in the UK &ndash; by&nbsp;director <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/interviews/she-isn%E2%80%99t-afraid-anything-%E2%80%93-vincent-haycock-directing-florence-welch" target="_blank">Vincent Haycock</a>, and shot in the same Mexico-based locations as What Kind Of Man. But&nbsp;this&nbsp;is an&nbsp;infinitely restrained and sober proposal when compared to&nbsp;the raging intensity of the&nbsp;previous work.&nbsp;The video, like the lyrics,&nbsp;are somewhat&nbsp;fatalistic and yet&nbsp;filled with beauty and&nbsp;hope.&nbsp;A very blue, solitary&nbsp;Florence meanders&nbsp;through the streets&nbsp;and muses&nbsp;over the loss of a&nbsp;relationship that was&nbsp;doomed from the start. Painfully love-struck, she had prayed to&nbsp;&#39;the patron-saint of lost causes&#39;&nbsp;with the full knowledge that the whole affair&nbsp;was&nbsp;ill-fated. But on the basis of Florence&#39;s&nbsp;previous collaborations with director Vincent Haycock, such as the powerful <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2012/11/20/florence-machine-lover-lover-vincent-haycock" target="_blank">Lover To Lover</a>,&nbsp;that shouldn&#39;t be a&nbsp;surprise.But the video for What Kind Of man&nbsp;achieves to a surprising new level of emotional and physical&nbsp;exposure as it evolves into a non-linear drama, depicting a&nbsp;love that&rsquo;s gone painfully awry.&nbsp;Shot in Mexico, it&#39;s riveting and cinematic in equal measure. And in the most surprising and disturbing dance sequence, after her vulnerability in her relationship&nbsp;is revealed - she is thrown to the dogs.&nbsp;Choreographed by Ryan Heffington,&nbsp;hordes of hungry men threaten to consume what is left of her after the wreckage.
