She's not overly interested to start with, but decides to see where it goes by the end of the video.&nbsp;Saturated in vibrant neon lighting and patterned overlays, it's a snappy piece of work with a charming, nostalgic vibe and&nbsp;slick choreography to boot.&nbsp;

Margot Bowman directs a&nbsp;stunning performance promo for Charlotte Dos Santos.The enchanting music video for Patience features Dos Santos surrounded by Sakura blossoms, evoking a love story which is imbued with themes of self-love and care.In this set-up, she is an exhibit in a museum that has come to life. And she also plays a visitor, inspired by the woman and the cherry tree&nbsp;artwork, to add to the performance.Like Bowman's previous video for Dos Santos, the steamy <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/07/08/charlotte-dos-santos-away-you-margot-bowman/71825" target="_blank">Away From You</a>, this is a&nbsp;beautifully crafted video. It's enhanced by the rich, textural colour palette and mesmerising styling, and the singer's&nbsp;dual&nbsp;performance is gentle and assured in equal measure.[imgtoken data:1]

DMND CLR founder&nbsp;Dijian Eccles and Andre Reid come together to co-direct a beautiful short film for Loski's Music, Trial and Trauma.&nbsp;This film is based on Loski’s rise in music, and the backstory of him growing up in South East London, Kennington;&nbsp;a fast-paced environment affected by poverty, crime and violence.Despite the wrong choices the protagonist makes, he’s always aware of an ideal lifestyle, and dreams of one day making it out through music. Despite his intentions, however,&nbsp;it’s never that easy….Strikingly emotional, the video is beautiful, brutal, heartbreaking, but eventually optimistic - and a true&nbsp;tour de force&nbsp;from two masters of their craft.&nbsp;

Lisette Donkersloot's second video for NAO - following the splendid <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/08/05/nao-messy-love-lisette-donkersloot/72248" target="_blank">Messy Love</a> - the songstress occupies another near-abstract space that reflects the sentiments of the song.For Wait, a song which is an intimate look at how mistakes grow in a relationship, we see NAO against a blacked-out background on a small floral island. Then&nbsp;her body and others become islands themselves in this space, creating landscapes as they appear in varying sizes&nbsp;and proportions.[imgtoken data:1]“For this video I wanted to&nbsp;create a landscape out of body parts," confirms Donkersloot. "Over the course of the beautifully-sung ballad the camera travels through a water surface, past several tableau of NAO&nbsp;in different scales/proportions mimicking elements of a landscape, where she will star as the mountains, the rocks, landshore and also a human on land surrounded by water.”&nbsp;After a while, the sky turns into a beautifully gradient colour and NAO emerges as all landscapes at once, creating a gorgeous surrealistic dreamscape. Another wonderful example of the director creating a graphic sensibility that is perfectly attuned to the artist and her performance. &nbsp;

Lisette Donkersloot creates a gorgeously graphic combination of artist and dance performance for the triumphant return of Nao.Inspired by Infrared photography, and working with choreographer Shay Latukolan, the Dutch director builds a radiant spectrum of colour and movement around the East London songstress's compelling performance of Messy Love - an ode to self-love, self-respect and choosing peace over the never-ending struggles of a detrimental relationship.[imgtoken data:1]Donkersloot creates a little bit of magic with the combination of her&nbsp;studio staging - a series of ever-changing backdrops of sunsets in a range of colours - and the astounding dancers in their&nbsp;fantastic 'alien' mode: covered in indigo blue bodypaint and orange-coloured gravity-defying braid hair styles.&nbsp;&nbsp;The dancers perform an abstract choreography throughout the video to augment Nao's central position. They start out on the floor, then work their way up, portraying a metaphor of plants growing as they receive sunlight and water. In the end, they return to their original horizontal positions, holding on to their goddess NAO who is ready for a new circle of life.Ultimately the video reflects the theme of the song and Nao's empowering lyrics in Messy Love, about a&nbsp;relationship that’s on the rocks: "I won’t break, said I won’t change my ways not even this time”. This is just as graceful, uplifting and beautiful as those words.[imgtoken data:2]

Wretch 32 worked with director Edem Wornoo on this epic 11-minute short film weaving tracks from his Little BIG Man project&nbsp; - a nine-track meditation on incarceration, violence and poverty - into a narrative about the cycle of reoffending, inner turmoil and home.Shot on location in London, the film explores themes of work, community and performance with scale and sensitivity.Last year, Wornoo was one of five unsigned British directors to win a place on <a href="https://threeminut.es/" target="_blank">Three Minutes</a> – Ground Work’s incubator scheme funding five music videos by rising talents.The scheme is produced in association with our production company Ground Work and made possible by Burberry, Shure and BFI NETWORK. The project has also received funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.

Rupert Bryan directs a brooding visual for Molly Hocking, winner of The Voice&nbsp;in 2019.Featuring an emotional performance in a blackout studio, with minimal props and art direction, Bryan experiments with layered visuals and otherworldy camera movements&nbsp;to represent the passing of time, and the lonely isolation the artist finds herself trapped in.&nbsp;DoP&nbsp;Dennis Madden visualises a world on pause, through the use of several shots on an AR rig - literally turning Hocking's world upside down - and&nbsp;subtle yet powerful lighting arrangements.&nbsp;

Fenne Lily transcends the world as we know it in Tom Clover's brilliant visual for Solipsism.&nbsp;Defined as a theory that the "self" is all that can be known to exist, we follow Fenne as she eats a banana that triggers the undoing of her solipsism, and her sense of reality disintegrates before her very eyes.&nbsp;Cue an unhealthy obsession with bananas&nbsp;- with products such as sardines in banana sauce taking prime real estate on the shelves - a cameo from fellow artist Willie J Healey and a colour palette that feels like it's been pulled straight from a 90's episode of&nbsp; Goosebumps.&nbsp;Completely bonkers in the best way possible, the parallel-world, Lynchian vibes are perfectly suited to the enigmatic track, and the concept is riotous fun from start to finish.&nbsp;
