Ja Humby takes us on an elevating experience - a trip on a mysterious hotel lift, where London jazz-funk combo Franc Moody are the lift attendants-cum-house band, performing tracks from their debut album, as the lift ascends ever higher...This is a thoroughly entertaining addition to Molten Jets, Humby's supercool series of live performances that are sprinkled with surreal touches - previous episodes include <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tbXisC4Gw0&amp;feature=emb_title" target="_blank">King Krule's Live On The Moon</a>.Humby establishes a mood of alluring strangeness from the start, with&nbsp;a small cast of fascinating, increasingly strange&nbsp;characters joining the lift,&nbsp;as it ascends to the stars, becoming the band's avid audience.As with other <a href="https://www.moltenjets.com/" target="_blank">Molten Jets</a> episodes, this&nbsp;shows it's possible to have a lot of creative fun with the live performance format, while&nbsp;Franc Moody demonstrate they are a banging live proposition. If you've missed live music - and who hasn't? - this is half an hour&nbsp;that's very well spent.

Directing duo Machine Operated have accomplished an ambitious visual concept for Rejjie Snow's team-up with&nbsp;Snoh Aalegra and Cam O’bi - it's Rejjie on a Stranger Train.It's not about the train journey as much as Rejjie's journey along the train - walking through carriages that each contain their own specific world: a tropical jungle with oversized plants; mountainous terrain with masked passengers; even an aquarium.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;“I worked on this idea with my buddies Josh and Nathan [Machine Operated] and before we knew it, we all had something solid and concise enough to deliver visually," Rejjie Snow told Hypebeast.&nbsp;"In short the aim was to distort your reality. [The video] was the world of Willy Wonka for me but on psychedelics.”

There's none of that here. It's much cooler... and darker.From shadow reenactments of heists to energetic performances, the struggle between light and dark is represented in a clever and innovative way, weaving live action setups with the silhouettes through exciting transitions. Great work from the team and artists.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Frank Lebon welcomes us into the kitchen sink of James Blake's mind, sparked by the splatter of pigeon poo on his head...How to make an investigation of the the diversity and complexity of relationships that is funny, scurrilous, touching, eccentric, and a bit disgusting (that repeated toilet shot, ugh), and make it something that could only really work as a music video? Well, Frank Lebon has done it.The song Can't Believe The Way We Flow is classic Blake in smooth melodic and romantic mode. Lebon responds by making his edit as kinetic as possible. Few shots last&nbsp;on screen for more than a few frames, and often a lot less, and he creates several superb sequences of live action animation. The advantage is you can get in a lot of stuff by that method - there are many people in many fairly simple yet intriguing setups - and the speed of the edit actually works perfectly with the song.With a cast of dozens and a smattering of drawn animation, Lebon has created a lo-fi epic, and a bit of a classic.[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2][imgtoken data:3][imgtoken data:4]

It's TTD's most commercial video yet, but he maintains&nbsp;his distinctively individual style with disorientating signature camera wizardry, together with&nbsp;moving furniture, offbeat imagery and saturated colour.Lensed by Hunter Daly, the video is frenetic and hyper-surreal, and flies through a series of conceptual setups to accompany&nbsp;the main performance scenes. The use of bright colour palettes and bold set builds from Jabez Bartlett help marry the concepts together, and performances from Ella and Kiana help ground an idea that could have been overwhelming for a director with less experience.It's a spicey visual feast for a great late-summer anthem. Now can we have some nice weather to go with it?

These girls&nbsp;are up for some serious&nbsp;high jinx around town.&nbsp;But there&#39;s a satisfying twist here too, as the girls are revealed not to be all they seem.&nbsp;And the boy&#39;s rose-tinted&nbsp;infatuation turns to horror as reality bites...
