Metromomy are reunited with Dan Brereton - director of their early videos and the more recent one for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2012/10/25/metronomy-hypnose-late-night-tales-daniel-brereton" target="_blank">Hypnose</a>&nbsp;&ndash; for the video for Reservoir. And this one is different than anything they&#39;ve tried before - a charming animation.Joe Mount and the band are rendered in a childlike illustration-style, brought to life by lead animator Matt Lloyd and his team. And its just as colourful as their previous, Michel Gondry-directed video for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2014/02/11/metronomy-love-letters-michel-gondry" target="_blank">Love Letters</a>.

Daniel Brereton proves that scenes of idyllic countryside and banging house music can go together - with a little help from subtitles - in his video for legendary producer Erol Alkan&#39;s A Hold On Love, from his debut EP.The subtitles tell a story&nbsp;of self-discovery which ties the music and the visuals - shot in the Lake District - together. And DoP&nbsp;Isaac Eastgate shot it on 16mm, to make it feel more like the Nineties...&nbsp;

Erol Alkan 'A Hold On Love' by Daniel Brereton 

A couple of years ago Daniel Brereton directed the video for Connan Mockasin&#39;s Forever Dolphin Love, from the New Zealander&#39;s debut album,&nbsp;which was very weird psychedelic&nbsp;shit indeed. But in some ways, their latest collaboration, for Connan&#39;s I&#39;m The Man, That Will Find You&#39; is even weirder shit.&nbsp;The song is a Connan&#39;s singular stab at sexy soul music, and in the video he is an unlikely Mr. Lover Man, seriously&nbsp;wooing the lady of the mansion in a kind of affectionate tribute to a stock-in-trade Eighties R&amp;B video. Appropriately the video was shot at a private residence in Rochdale, Manchester (where Connan now lives), and features&nbsp;refreshingly normal-sized model Naomi Shimada as the lady won over by Connan&#39;s&nbsp;full-on devotion.Weird&nbsp;shit - but utterly charming. &nbsp;&nbsp;
