What do you miss most about your youth? Mark Lediard's latest promo for Seafret explores&nbsp;this idea.Shot on the Northumberland coastline, the video for Wonderland is inspired by the nostalgia we&nbsp;occasionally feel for our younger years, and the unconscious yearning for a simpler time.&nbsp;The video features a cast of ageing characters who discover cardboard animal masks on the floor, and are soon transported to their younger bodies, as they discover the adventures of youth through a fresh pair of eyes.&nbsp;It's a colourful, magical and heartfelt film, with docu-style cinematography and a wonderful set of&nbsp;performances from all involved.&nbsp;&nbsp;

And for the fans to video themselves holding up a card with a message of apology to a loved one.The video is made up of these video messages, together with Seafret's performance of the song on location&nbsp;in their home town of Bridlington on the East Yorkshire coast.It's a highly&nbsp;effective way to deliver the song's heartfelt message - with a welcome revival of user-generated content.&nbsp;

A woman tries to turn back time to save her relationship, in&nbsp;Mark Lediard and Gavin Williams's emotional promo for Seafret.&nbsp;The video for Running Out Of Love opens with the couple arguing, as Seafret members&nbsp;Jack Sedman and Harry Draper blend into the background, performing to camera.&nbsp;As the argument builds to a head, we see the woman grab a stopwatch and repeatedly experience the snapshots of time that built to the rift, before finally coming to a decision that could see her lose everything.&nbsp;We've seen narratives similar to this before, but this is a standout by just how well&nbsp;executed it is, with excellent performances from the two leads and splendid cinematography from DoP&nbsp;Ross Marshall.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Joel Barney directs an unconventional studio performance promo for Himalayas.&nbsp;Set in an illuminated underworld, the video sees the group rock out whilst a cluster of haunting figures claw at screens behind them.&nbsp;With&nbsp;an emphasis on creative lighting techniques such as silhouettes and shadows, the video suggests a surreality lurking beneath the surface, which creates a gripping, stirring atmosphere.&nbsp;The performance at the centre of the concept is a breathless, rip-roaring affair, which amplifies the punchy track.&nbsp;

Ben Phillippo takes us on a road trip that isn't quite what it seems, in his hypnotic clip for Canyon City's Comets.&nbsp;Sometimes, no matter how far you drive, you always wind up in the same place. In this introspective promo, the main character - played by&nbsp;Brian J. McDonald - is seen driving around winding country roads, always ending up at the same derelict storefront.&nbsp;Around the midpoint, he finally escapes the&nbsp;Groundhog Day-style loop, but after finding a buried time capsule and finding&nbsp;his long-lost lover, he realises he is in another loop entirely.&nbsp;Beautifully structured, the emotional concept balances an unusual sense of dread with a heartwrenching love story, and perfectly embodies the affecting themes in the track.&nbsp;

Searching for solace in an unremarkable motel, he connects with a young woman,&nbsp;who is also looking for a way out of her tedious day-to-day life.&nbsp;Exploring guilt, frustration as well as second chances at love, Hit The Floor is a charming and uplifting vision from Phillippo, who cleverly weaves together humour and emotion to create this well-rounded narrative.As in&nbsp;Everybody Breaks, the visual utilises desaturated colour palettes and slow camera movement to anchor the video in the real world, creating a universal experience that anyone&nbsp;could relate to in their&nbsp;own lives.&nbsp;

Mark Lediard's latest&nbsp;Of Mice &amp; Men video continues a storyline&nbsp;introduced in two videos earlier in the&nbsp;year –&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kazOPN6hMbM">How To Survive</a>&nbsp;and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1pS2xw3FI4">Mushroom Cloud</a>&nbsp;–&nbsp;which introduced the storyline of experiencing a nuclear&nbsp;apocalypse.Earth And Sky video opens in space, on-board a massive triangular spaceship. We are offered hints as to what’s happening, through analogue computer screens, flashing messages such as “The seed must grow” and “The seed must survive”. The world is dying - and these guys are here to save it.&nbsp;The group perform in an expansive industrial setting, whilst the ship triangulates with the Earth, eventually shooting out a massive wave of energy in the form of a bright laser beam. We see this beam of light spread across the post-apocalyptic desert, presumably helping to reset this arid land after a mass extinction event.Whilst simple in its idea, the video has a few surprises hidden within it, and is beautifully lensed by Ross Marshall. Earth And Sky&nbsp;is a welcome accompaniment to the visual concept, and it will be interesting to see if the storyline continues when the album is released in September.

The spotlit performance in Ben Thornley&#39;s video for Kill J&nbsp;is punctuated with light drawings and bursts of colour that reflect the bonds between science and religion, according to the Scandinavian artist.&quot;The video is supposed to illustrate the theme of the song, which is when in a crisis, you can find calm and centeredness in the laws of nature in the same way we do in religion,&quot; says Kill J. &quot;Gravity&nbsp;is a prayer. Experiencing the weight of your body being drawn down or into another larger body (in our case, the earth) is a peaceful comfort &ndash; a relief from anxiety. Because no one and nothing is alone. Everything is constantly being pulled, pushed or drawn towards other bodies. The forces of the universe makes sure it.&quot;The light drawings in the video are supposed to illustrate the many similarities between religion and science. &quot;The symmetry in religious ornamentation is not so different from the scientific formulas and illustrations we find in science. And in a way, for me, they often tell the same story. I am not religious in a traditional sense, but I have faith. I believe, that science will save us all in the end and deliver us from evil and heartache.&quot;​
