Thora Hilmars rouses the world back to life in her stunning video for Of Monsters and Men.&nbsp;Shot just before lockdown, the promo is inspired by the Icelandic "dark season" and the aftermath of madness.&nbsp;Performing in a neon-lit warehouse, the group attract a series of unique characters, all of whom are waking up to their new realities.&nbsp;DoP&nbsp;Thor Eliasson captures a sense of wonder and awakening through contrasting the artifice of the inside world with the abundant nature of the outdoors, reflecting on what life means to each of us and how we live out our days on this planet.&nbsp;

Of Monsters And Men's singer Nanna Bryndís does not so much walk on water as lie upon it, in Thora Hilmars' video for Wild Roses.&nbsp;&nbsp;Nanna performs the song from the centre of a pool, with power over the water surrounding her&nbsp;- it eventually&nbsp;flows in mini spinning vortices around her. Shot at night in an old swimming pool in Iceland, it's a notable performance video which arguably alludes to the Icelandic relationship with water: the nation exists because they have mastered it.&nbsp;The track Wild Roses&nbsp;is taken from OMAM’s latest album, Fever Dream.

Following her video for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2018/04/17/%C3%B3lafur-arnalds-remember-thora-hilmars" target="_blank">re:member</a> earlier this year, Icelandic director Thora Hilmars has now directed a follow-up for her countryman, the BAFTA-winning artist/composer/producer&nbsp;Ólafur Arnalds, for unfold.As Hilmars explains below: &quot;The videos are connected. They both take place in a post-Apocalyptic world and their stories are intertwined. But the atmosphere in each video is vastly different.&quot;&nbsp;Ólafur Arnalds comments:&nbsp;&ldquo;This is my breaking out-of-a-shell album. It&rsquo;s me taking the raw influences that I have from all these different musical genres and not filtering them. It explores the creative process and how one can manipulate that to get out of the circle of expectations and habit.&rdquo;&nbsp;

BAFTA-winning artist, composer, musician and producer Ólafur Arnalds has unveiled his new track re:member, with a video from director Thora Hilmars, in which a young man must prove himself in a machismo culture - and has a special place in society. In fact, he&#39;s the Youngest Person Alive.The track&nbsp;features groundbreaking new software, Stratus, developed over two years by&nbsp;Arnalds&#39;&nbsp;and&nbsp;audio developer Halldór Eldjárn, which transforms the piano into a self-playing, semi-generative instrument. And&nbsp;the video&nbsp;is a poignant counterpoint to the track, where the young man undergoes a dangerous initiation with his buddies, in a world where procreation has apparently ended.&ldquo;The video touches on elements of masculinity and how men communicate their feelings,&quot; says&nbsp;Ólafur Arnalds.&nbsp;&quot;But also the hope and joy we can find in each other when we manage to connect with each other or something that we share.&rdquo;

Of Monsters And Men&#39;s single&nbsp;Wolves Without Teeth&nbsp;offers up the unusual mashup of&nbsp;indie rock with salsa dancing, with a story of a couple&#39;s audition&nbsp;at a salsa competition.&nbsp;The video starts out at a measured tread, showing the solemn preparation process of the contestants as they chase perfection in their choreography as well as in their taught, slicked-back look. And once they do step up to the plate,&nbsp;their invigorated sense of&nbsp;confidence&nbsp;as well as their evident love for salsa embolden them as they face the&nbsp;remarkably dispassionate crowd and a stone-faced jury.
