Only this one is arguably just&nbsp;a bit sexier.Director Asaf T. Mann is back in charge - this time as a solo director - for a confection of pastel-tinted visuals incorporating locker room antics, pink lake dips and real milk baths. Plus there&#39;s more African exoticism in the vein of Baby Love&nbsp;- just no giraffes this time.Shot in Senegal and Germany, and featuring a bevy of leggy beauties, and&nbsp;of course, Petite Meller radiating her own special brand of pink-cheeked kookiness.

Kristoffer has made two videos previously for the excellent Young Dreams - most recently the tale of youth rebellion in the French suburbs for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2012/11/20/young-dreams-fog-of-war-by-kristoffer-borgli/" target="_blank">Fog Of War</a>. Now for First Days Of Something, the drama edges more towards the documentary (or drama-doc) area of his short film Whateverest - which is also the Todd Terje video for Inspector Norse. There's even a sort of visual nod to Inspector Norse in this one...
"The story is almost an autobiographical tale of my previous winter, when after a break up I wanted to capture the feeling by forcing myself to listening to one song," explains Kristoffer. "Ed, who plays the part, added another layer to it when we made the story to be about an Australian stuck in Oslo. 
"We spent two long days shooting, plus one night out on a club, in the coldest days in January - we had -20 degrees both days - with the involvement and help of a lot of friends, and my production company Bacon. And Ed insisted on listening to the song while we were shooting, making it impossible for me to give him direction. Indie method acting from a non actor..."

Kristoffer Borgli's music video for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2012/07/06/todd-terje-inspector-norse-by-kristoffer-borgli/" target="_blank">Todd Terje's Inspector Norse</a> won the best dance video (budget) category at the UK Music Video Awards last November. But that was actually the music video edit of Kristoffer's short film Whateverest, which tells the story of a guy from provincial Norway who goes by the internet alias of 'Inspector Norse' and inspired Todd Terje's smash hit dance tune. That film has been doing the rounds at international film festivals for the past few months, winning the special jury award at the AFI Fest in Los Angeles.
Now everyone can watch em&gt;Whateverest and discover what is not so apparent in the Inspector Norse video - that this is an affecting portrait of a real guy called Marius Solem Johansen: living in a small Norwegian town; a loner and failed musician with a predeliction for powerful home-cooked drugs, with quite frightening consequences; but also with a deep love for electronic music, and dancing. 
In short, a remarkable short doc - with great use of Todd Terje's music too. Unless its all fake - in which case it's just about the greatest fake doc ever made...

This marvellous video for Norwegian jazz combo Pixel&#39;s Call Me is a comic-drama directed by Ola Martin Fjeld set in the prosaic surroundings of a caravan park in mid-Norway in late summer. But a surprising dance performance by one family for their fellow holiday-makers lays bare the tensions between mother and daughter. And that, in turn, inspires the girl&#39;s fiery, and very enjoyable, dance performance...&quot;Pixel is a hot potato on the Norwegian jazz scene and made their international break with Call Me,&quot; Ola explains. &quot;The song is a good mix of anger and playfulness and we wanted to bring both these elements into the video. &quot;We agreed early on with the lead singer Ellen Wang that we wanted to do a dance video that was out of the ordinary. I spent every summer in my childhood in caravan parks and have always wanted to portray the people and aesthetics of these kinds of parks. So we got the idea to combine the two into a extraordinary dance show on a caravan park. The video was shot in one weekend in late summer &ndash;&nbsp;in Lyngstrand Camping close to Gjøvik, in the middle of Norway &ndash; with a small budget and a fantastic cast and crew.&quot;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Beautifully shot by Håvard Byrkjeland, at a house in Oslo designed and built by architect Arne Korsmo (1900-1968), it begins dreamily but then develops a darker edge as the reality of this modern-day Hansel &amp; Gretel's situation kicks in. 
"The idea was inspired by a local news story," Kristoffer explains. "A mother left her young kids in the house and was gone for weeks. This happened in January, when I was writing the idea. I mixed that up with my own childhood, and a hint of something sinister."
