Under Sophie's direction, Mae comes of age on-camera, and it's a joy to behold.

Contrasting frenetic high energy setups and shots of Gracey alone in the club, there is a surreal undertone to the visual, which gets stronger as the concept progresses.DoP Diana Olifirova&nbsp;utilises shadow and backlighting to build upon the enigmatic aesthetic, whilst using slow, fluid camera movement to focus on Gracey's emotional performance.

Sophie Muller's first video since signing to Prettybird sees her making her third video for the now singularly-named Cheryl. And as well as the name reduction, it's also a Cheryl as we've never seen her before.That's making the&nbsp;video a magnet for debate about whether or not Cheryl has had facial surgery, and a bigger one about the pressure on our pop stars to stay young-looking. But in fact, the video is something of a triumph on its own terms. After you watch it once, you can focus on the more important stuff, and appreciate the fact that Sophie Muller has done it again.This is a very slick pop product that ticks the boxes. It sees Muller reunited with one of the old school great DoPs, Dan Landin, and the use of art direction, lighting and choreography is top notch, with something of a 90s flavour, updated for 2018. But at the heart, Cheryl herself gives a performance of comeback single Love Made Me Do It that that adds&nbsp;personality, warmth and humour to the&nbsp;singing-and-dancing stuff. It&nbsp;seems to be saying: 'this is just all a bit of fun, isn't it?'.&nbsp;&nbsp;Good for you, Cheryl.&nbsp;

"As soon as I heard the words 'It's good, but it's not the one' it sparked off a chain reaction in my brain: Roy Walker, Catchphrase, game shows... the concept evolved naturally out of that," Aaron explains. "This video was a true labour of love. I built all the sets myself in three days, but I have been a huge fan of The Futureheads since they did the "Hounds of Love" cover, so it was worth it.
"I had great fun making it and I don't think I have laughed so much on set before. Dave Gibson - our hilarious host - had everyone in stitches with his perfectly timed ad-libbing".
