Selena Gomez makes herself at home in a magical house, in the gorgeous&nbsp;video for De Una Vez,&nbsp;directed by&nbsp;Tania Verduzco and Adrian Pérez, aka Los Pérez.The single marks the actor and singer’s first song to be recorded entirely in Spanish in nearly a decade, and in the&nbsp;accompanying&nbsp;video we see Gomez return to her Hispanic roots, and dreamily move past heartbreak as she traverses through rooms in a home while reflecting and signing about her growth.&nbsp;“The idea was basically a journey inside a house where Selena was going through different rooms," explain&nbsp;Los Pérez.&nbsp;"Every room has a different concept behind, that is helping us to express the emotional felling of the song. She’s forgiving and letting memories vanish away."We thought that this song needed an emotional performance, so the idea of doing this one single shot approach with hidden cuts was perfect and Selena was keen on doing it.”[imgtoken data:1]Los Pérez lean into the sensibility of magical realism for the video, utilising Mexican cultural references to that end - including the central image&nbsp;of the sacred crystal heart on Selena's chest. “We wanted to play with powerful language and images," they add. "We designed the heart (we call it the Milagro in Mexico culture) and it’s light to be a metaphor for the healing throughout the story.”The iconic look is styled by Shirley Kurata. Dressed in a stunning Rodarte’s SS21 Daisy Floral Silk dress, with jewellery by Mexican designer Daniela Villegas. <a href="https://en.vogue.me/beauty/de-una-vez-selena-gomez-interview/" target="_blank">Los Pérez also told Vogue</a>: “We wanted to play with the amazing flowers the way Frida Kahlo did, but making it modern and cool for right now. The flowers on the dress, hair, and within the video all connect with this idea of renewal.”Due to the Covid travel ban, Los Pérez ended up directing the video remotely. Which has not prevented them from creating an enchanting video.

Cloé Bailly's&nbsp;lovely video for Coldplay's Champion Of The World explores the imagination of a lonely, misunderstood boy - played by Chris Martin - who finds shelter from the pain of the everyday world in his own dreams.&nbsp;He gets bullied at school, and then he gets bullied at home - the nice heart-rending touch is having the 'real' boy, who Chris Martin is playing, is periodically seen too, but always from behind. With every situation, there is a&nbsp;journey from the reality to his world of the imagination: making his tormentors at school disappear, cars taking flight in his suburban neighbourhood so he can cycle in the middle of the road, and eventually seeing&nbsp;his musicmaking dreams lead him to his fellow bandmembers on TV.Bailly's&nbsp;visually expressive and cinematic world&nbsp;is bright, whimsical, and enchanting - a cross between Spielberg's vision of surburbia in&nbsp;ET, and Gondry's music videos, and his movie&nbsp;Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.“It’s about this magic power kids have to switch off from reality and jump into their own world, especially when having to cope with pain," says Bailly. Henry Scholfield&rsquo;s latest work for Billie Eilish, sees the award winning Caviar director collaborate once again with Mosaert (Paul &lsquo;Stromae&rsquo; Van and Luc Jr Tam) on the concept. The film sees Billie with a boy in a choreographic narrative of unrequited love in a minimalist space that ebbs, flows and eventually engulfs him.Scholfield comments, &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a story of suffocating love, so we had this idea that the room itself is like an extension of Billie&rsquo;s subconscious, an echo of her own emotions. Shivering in tender moments or lashing out in the pain of rejection and eventually conspiring to hold him hostage.&rdquo;The majority of the effects were captured for real, with a combination of in camera techniques and VFX where necessary. The director notes that &ldquo;it was important for us to have as much of the mechanics and movement of the space happen in camera in order to make the relationship between them and the space more tangible. Of course there was some &lsquo;enhancement&rsquo; especially with the sinews that bind him at the end.&rdquo;In reference to Billie&rsquo;s on-screen partner, Scholfield comments, &ldquo;The dancer is an amazing young talent called Deyck. Not only is he an incredible dancer, but he could play mix of softness or earnestness to juxtapose with his natural masculinity.&rdquo;On Billie, he comments, &ldquo;She has an incredible sense of self, great ideas and a confidence that lets her craft crazily compelling performances. She only admitted when pushed that she had also been a dancer and &#39;done a little acting&#39;. It was wonderful to collaborate with her... she&rsquo;s wicked talented.&rdquo;

I wonder if Carlos Lopez Estrada ever imagined his career would include a &#39;Sheep Choreography&#39; credit. I&#39;m sure within his eclectic repertoire and his increasingly far-reaching collaborations with Watsky he must be aware now that anything is possible.Set in a cartoonish dreamscape inside a kid&#39;s head, Watsky plays the shepherd of the sheep the young boy must have been counting in order to get to sleep in the first place (because someone&#39;s gotta look after them, right?!) It starts out harmoniously enough - sheep choreography et al &ndash; but unfortunately for Watsky it all seems to go awry quite quickly.Sheep die left, right and centre before being resurrected in a nightmarish fashion. None of that seems to bother the little kid though...

After the knockabout, boxing match fun of <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2016/08/11/watsky-ft-mal-devisa-midnight-heart-carlos-lopez-estrada" target="_blank">Midnight Heart</a>, San Franciscan rapper and slam poet George&nbsp;Watsky swiftly resumes his collaborating with Carlos Lopez Estrada, and the video for Brave New World is a corker.&nbsp;You know those cutout paper dolls you can dress up? There&#39;s quite a good paper doll book&nbsp;for Taylor Swift, in fact, but luckily&nbsp;these guys have appropriated the idea for a video before Swifty did. Watsky becomes the human doll, with different costumes and&nbsp;mind-boggling clothes combos falling on him then flying off every couple of seconds.The speed of change and variety of costumes is&nbsp;mind-boggling, which makes it a must for repeated viewings. Less obvious is the VFX that makes clothes fly on and fly off Watksy&#39;s body - that must have taken ages and its&nbsp;achieved brilliantly.&nbsp;Great stuff.&nbsp;

Watksy - "Brave New World"

Carlos Lopez Estrada astounds again with some knockout fight night choreography.It takes a hell of a lot of effort to choreograph a dance, just as it does to choreograph a fight. To choreograph both simultaneously so that they weave in and out of one another is truly some next level work.Carlos&#39; video for Watsky combines these disciplines with some great rhythmic timing, both from an edit and story standpoint and douses the whole thing with heaps of attitude. It&#39;s a dreamlike boxing match ballet than manages to be dizzying, cartoonish and theatrical all whilst still being coolly menacing.
