Jackson Ducasse directs a love letter to the power of friendship, in his heartfelt promo for Amy Macdonald.&nbsp;The video for Fire celebrates the people who make us tick and&nbsp;allow us to be ourselves when we're around them, and follows a pair of young adults navigating their way around relationships and a turbulent, ever-changing world.&nbsp;Breezy and poignant, the performances are naturalistic and explore&nbsp;the various identities we choose to suit different situations, and the confidence that comes with uncovering our true selves as we transition to adulthood.&nbsp;DoP&nbsp;Anna Patarakina mirrors the themes of the concept with spontaneous camera movement and energetic set pieces, creating an overarching, feel-good vibe with an optimistic ending.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Ground-breaking pop pioneers Sparks have turned to the Estonian animation director Chintis Lundgren for the video for their new single One For The Ages, taken from the Mael Brothers forthcoming album,&nbsp;A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip.The charming 2D animated&nbsp;video - in which each image was hand drawn -&nbsp;follows a protagonist who dreams of creating something that could one day be considered 'one for the ages' - but he has to negotiate a minefield of petty office politics first.Lundgren is renowned for her acclaimed, award-winning short film Manivald, she runs her own animation studio Chintis Lundgreni Animatsioonistuudio, and is co-founder of Adriatic Animation, an animation studio based in Zagreb, Croatia.&nbsp;Each image is hand drawn on A5-sized printing paper, photographed with a Canon EOS 400 D digital camera with a 50 mm prime lens, coloured in Photoshop and edited in Adobe Premiere.Working to a tight timeline Chintis teamed up with animator Draško Ivezić for the project. “Draško has created a digital pencil that has pretty much the same kind of line as my analogue one, so I'm able to combine his digital drawing with my analogue ones without there being any noticeable difference.”This is the second time, Sparks&nbsp;have turned to animation for one of the videos. In 2017 they teamed up with BAFTA Cymru-nominated animation and puppetry director Joseph Wallace for the award-winning video for the single Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me).
