Sing J Lee explores the boundary between love and lust in a set of intriguing scenarios set in an apartment block, in his video for&nbsp;Years &amp; Years&#39; very catchy Desire.But the real focus of the video is&nbsp;the band&#39;s charismatic frontman Olly Alexander, who plays both struggling writer&nbsp;in an apartment block&nbsp;and performs with the band. Perhaps not surprisingly, as Olly is also an actor, who&#39;s appeared in Misfits, the movie The Riot Club and upcoming musical feature God Help The Girl, written and directed by Stuart Murdoch of Belle &amp; Sebastian.

Newly signed to Chief Productions, director Sing J Lee delivers this performance plus promo for Daniela Brooker &ndash; the 19 year old Londoner with the big voice &ndash; to partner her new single Breathe.
Chief Following work on promos for PINS and Skunk Anansie, working on a straight forward pop video is somewhat a departure for Sing, he says: &ldquo;Breathe came with an open brief and had a great American pop rock sound to it that instantly began to shape the tone and the shade of the final concept.
&ldquo;It was great, having some fun playing around with a concept inspired by 80s teen dramas with a little supernatural flourish in the final crescendo&rdquo;.

Nate Camponi adds some more rock &lsquo;n&rsquo; roll to this nice performance from We Are The Ocean by going all Pete Townsend and hurling a TV off a rooftop. The technological carnage doesn&rsquo;t stop there though. Keyboards, computers and mobile phones all get smashed to smithereens &ndash; all in glorious slow motion.
&ldquo;We Are The Ocean are a great band to work with and once again, I&rsquo;ve really enjoyed shooting with them,&rdquo; says Nate. &ldquo;As always with these things we were really restricted with time and budget, so we just went for something really simple &ndash; smashing up electrical equipment, which I guess is basically a reference to the lyric &lsquo;I don&rsquo;t want to be owned by you&rsquo;, but at the same time, it stemmed from just wanting to smash stuff up really badly&hellip;
It does get a bit addictive, though. The look in everyone&rsquo;s eye when we brought out something to smash up was priceless. It was like throwing raw steak to a bunch of crazy dogs &ndash; especially the girls. I&rsquo;ve never seen rage like it. I&rsquo;m definitely smashing something up in everything I do, from now on.&rdquo;
