Paul Thomas Anderson&#39;s third video for Radiohead&#39;s album A Moon-Shaped Pool follows the template of the second for <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hgVihWjK2c" target="_blank">Present Tense</a>. It&#39;s Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, a CR78 (apparently, whatever that is), outside in the country,&nbsp;and it&#39;s live.Like Present Tense, it&#39;s&nbsp;a bit of an anti-video, and not the enigmatic masterpiece that is Anderson&#39;s pondered-over video for&nbsp;Daydreaming. But, there&#39;s still something special about this. First and foremost, there&#39;s the evidence, if any were needed, that Greenwood is a bit of a&nbsp;guitar player.&nbsp;The set-up brings to mind&nbsp;Garth Jennings and Adam Buxton&#39;s&nbsp;string of videos for Radiohead&#39;s In Rainbows album, created over an&nbsp;intense long weekend of online broadcasts, which included&nbsp;Yorke and Greenwood driving through Oxfordshire&nbsp;countryside at speed to perform an impromptu version of Faust Arp on a rainspecked hillside in the last moments of daylight. A mere three days after their last offering - the hypnotic Trumpton and Wicker Man-referencing&nbsp;<a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2016/05/04/radiohead-burn-witch-chris-hopewell" target="_blank">Burn The Witch&nbsp;video</a> &ndash; Radiohead&nbsp;continue the push around their new album A Moon Shaped Pool&nbsp;by giving us this gorgeous, sleepy video for Daydreaming.Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (director remarkable movies such as Magnolia,&nbsp;There Will Be Blood,The Master and Inherent Vice)&nbsp;it follows Thom Yorke as he meanders through doorways into a disconnected series of locations searching for something. Anything, really.&nbsp;It&#39;s a simple and beautiful meditation that fits well into the PT Anderson music video ouevre of &#39;not much happens, really... but maybe actually everything happens and the experience is totally subjective and therefore yours to glean. It&#39;s bloody nice to look at though.&#39;&nbsp;Which is essentially the feeling you get from watching this, or the video he made last year for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ky9Ro9pP2gc" target="_blank">Joanna Newsom&#39;s&nbsp;Sapokanikan</a>.However you feel about it, the seamless cuts between such contrasting locations is still a stunning thing to observe.
