Taisia Deeva directs a sci-fi inspired promo for Dynoro's Monsters, featuring 24kgoldn.&nbsp;Shot by separate units in Kiev and the US, the video features children cowering in terror, hiding&nbsp;from the unknown, only to be transported to a futuristic corridor where their anxieties are personified as a shrouded monster. By grouping together, they transcend their circumstances to become stronger than they could ever imagine.The resulting visual&nbsp;is impactful and poignant, and beautifully realised by the creative teams in both locations - the art direction and cinematography balance futurism with a dark, contemporary aesthetic, whilst the styling and monster effects lend&nbsp;a surreal fantasy to the concept.&nbsp;

An ominous presence tracks a number of individuals on the streets and fields of East London, in Brock Neal Roberts' gripping promo for Eli Brown &amp; Talk Show.&nbsp;Paying homage to gritty British cinema - in particular <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Clarke" target="_blank">Alan Clarke</a>'s influential masterpiece Elephant -&nbsp;the video for Trouble is focussed on the individuals who walk briskly through an deserted urban landscape - when they are not congregating in legendary Bethnal Green caff Manzi's -&nbsp;aware that they are being followed by an unknown, unseen force, with tension and fear building throughout.&nbsp;The video is deceivingly&nbsp;simple, with a concept that packs a punch and gets under your skin, with great use of locations, excellent casting and Neal Roberts working with DoP&nbsp;David Foulkes and editor Beth Roberts to build the spooky feel&nbsp;of a nightmare. Thibault-Théodore directed a sensual and subversive promo for the iconoclastic French singer Yseult.&nbsp;The video for Bad Boy, which came out late last year, explores eroticism, beauty and surrender in genuinely breathtaking fashion. Rapper Ichon co-stars as Yseult's&nbsp;partner in an affair which involves&nbsp;different aspects of fetish practice in sexual life,&nbsp;the video bares all in both a physical and emotional sense, and is handled with due care by the director.&nbsp;Beautifully shot by DoP David Foulkes, the cinematography feels very much traditional in its technique, but contemporary in its boldness and attitude. And it all leads to a staggering moment of artistic expression and trust by Yseult in the final section of the video.&nbsp;&nbsp;Translating raw emotion into a true piece of art, the creative team have pulled off a wonderful project that elevates the downtempo track.

This introductory short film to the new musical project Who We Are -&nbsp;directed by London-based Australian&nbsp;directing duo Novemba,&nbsp;making their&nbsp;music project debut - explores the everyday heartbreak of being a parent and the deep complex emotions lurking beneath the surface.A creative collaboration between music, film and dance, this is fully realized by two debut Who We Are songs as the short film’s soundtrack – Book At Bedtime&nbsp;and Daydream&nbsp;– as well as Novemba’s signature visual style and enthralling choreographed performances by Dickson Mbi.[imgtoken data:1]Taking place in intimate, familiar settings, the overarching focus of the short film is on the unique pieces of raw, emotional expression from two individual characters: a father who is grappling with the difficulties that come with being a newly single parent, separated from his infant child; and a mother who faces unbearable tension and hostility from her teenage daughter, played by Chloe Hearn.It's a powerful two-parter, with outstanding performances by the dancers, deftly directed by Novemba.

If you need something uplifting right now,&nbsp;look no further. Paloma Faith and director David Wilson lament the gentrification of London in brilliantly feisty fashion,&nbsp;in the wonderful&nbsp;promo for Gold.&nbsp;Decked out in a trademark whimsical dress and radiating heaps of&nbsp;energy, Paloma skips and dances down an East London market and into a building site, dangling from an excavator, kicking down doors, and just having a riotous time with some of her fellow, equally colourful&nbsp;residents.&nbsp;Paloma is magnetic as always, the supporting cast - all dancers in the Theo Adams Company - are great too, and DoP&nbsp;David Foulkes matches her energy in sweeping crane shots and fluid camera movement. It all adds up to sheer entertainment. Absolutely marvellously fabulous.[imgtoken data:1]

Ever since his marvellous video for Metronomy's The Bay, David Wilson has been able to make magic happen by the pool. And that's what happens in his video for Glass Animals' It's All So Incredibly Loud.GA's frontman Dave Bayley emerges through wisps of smoke to&nbsp;negotiate&nbsp;the diving board of a&nbsp;swimming pool in a suburban home at night. Yes, once again Wilson is making an English summer appear impossibly glamourous. He also&nbsp;brings us a heightened reality which&nbsp;almost seems nostalgic in its visual crispness.The intention&nbsp;is to capture a moment, and explore it's metaphorical meaning. Shot on both a Phantom and an Alexa, the time when Bayley inevitably enters the pool's water is stretched out to last as long as possible. Time is slowed, just as seems to happen&nbsp;when you dive into cold water - and also when you are faced with the emotional issues discussed in the song.Suitably Bayley also delivers a heartfelt performance to camera in this video that marks a triumphant return by David Wilson to the music video mainstream. Two young women engage in a punch-up with a difference in Jak Payne's absorbing video for dance-pop duo Franc Moody.&nbsp;The well-matched females' battle in an empty warehouse space, in a choreographed style that blurs the line between fighting and dancing. Their intriguing relationship and interdependence, is a smart&nbsp;visual expression of the line in the song about "the chemistry between us". But then things really do get out of hand...&nbsp;Beautifully shot by David Foulkes, you definitely&nbsp;sense the chemistry,&nbsp;through Payne's direction, Charlie Von Rotberg's sharp editing -&nbsp;and pugnacious performances by the fighters, Shaina West and&nbsp;Yolanda Lynes.

Baxter Dury stars as the degenerate Slumlord&nbsp;in Tom Haines hedonistic new visual.Opening in&nbsp;a sickly yellow-hued studio set, Dury has his back turned towards the camera as he takes a leak in a prop toilet. And this pretty much sets the tone for the whole video.&nbsp;Smoking cigarettes as he wades through a mountain of 1p and 2p coins, the charismatic Baxter&nbsp;is the King of his rundown slum - represented by spartan but clever art direction. He's assisted by a&nbsp;handful of group of artfully shambolic and groggy dancers. Whether they are propped against dirty mattresses or performing a choreographed dance among kitchen chairs, this group lend a grimy edge to the proceedings.&nbsp;Lensed by&nbsp;David Foulkes, the unusual choice of coloured lighting, including hues of yellow and&nbsp;nicotine brown, creates a surprising&nbsp;aesthetic that gets under your skin. It's not always&nbsp;a comfortable watch, and you may feel a bit grubby by the end - but it's well worth it.&nbsp;

In the video for Human Contact, Ethan Graham explores a narrative that follows The Howl &amp; The Hum’s lead singer, Sam, as he journeys through a derelict space where people have all been consumed by technology.In what could be seen as a parallel universe, or dystopian future, people have been so affected that they no longer act or move like humans. Sam gives an engaging performance as he tries to resist the contorted movements of those around him, choreographed by Abdourahman Nije. The haunting track is fuelled by a slow-burning, propulsive beat which builds to a fiery crescendo.

Sophie Jones&rsquo;s first official music video under the <a href="https://www.darkroomworld.com/">Darkroom</a> banner&nbsp;- Partizan&#39;s reactivated division for up and coming&nbsp;talent &ndash; is her second collaboration with artist Roses Gabor.&nbsp;The promo for I Could Be Yours&nbsp;is a dreamlike sequence of vignettes, set in sun-kissed countryside, which juxtaposes idyllic bliss with pure aggression.While Roses&nbsp;gazes through a car windscreen, bare-chested dancers execute a battle, drawn out in slow motion, which leaves the viewer to focus on the details of the movement.Following on from the striking casting of her previous Gabor video for&nbsp;Illusions, this features an array of unusual faces and figures, and Sophie Jones&#39;s very considered approach and pacing allows the artist performance of the song some room to gradually take centre stage in the piece.
