Brighton-based rock band&nbsp;Lovejoy&nbsp;team up with director-DoP duo&nbsp;Noiziac for a heated, grungy ode to Fight Club.The video for With Rob As My Witness, directed by Aaron Bishop and shot by Harvey Davies, kicks off the lead up to the band's debut album. And it marks a new era for the band, as they move into grittier territory than previously with the visceral&nbsp; ‘Residents Only Boxing’ event in the video.Noiziac have stated that they&nbsp;poured a lot of detail into the video.&nbsp;"The word which echoed across our pre-pro was ‘overstimulation’. We wanted to illustrate a character having a lot of things thrown at him with no time to prepare, but an expectation to get it correct right away. There’s an in-your-face-ness to how all of these characters are seen interacting with Will.”With this marking the first collaboration between Lovejoy and Noiziac, the two collectives are set to be working on another video together which is to be expected to be out later this summer.[imgtoken data:1]

Kwoli Black finds himself in a surreal TV chat show scenario in Connor Maclaren's entertaining promo for the rising alt hip hop artist.The video&nbsp;for Can I Speak?&nbsp;begins with Kwoli welcomed onto the&nbsp;talk show by its offkey host, played by BINA. It gets weird and&nbsp;uncomfortable - Maclaren was inspired by&nbsp;The Eric Andre Show&nbsp;and&nbsp;Zach Galifianakis'&nbsp;Between Two Ferns&nbsp;-&nbsp;as BINA asks increasingly personal&nbsp;questions, and then&nbsp;barely allows him to respond, before introducing the song.Then Kwoli enters an empty, black abyss-like space, lit by a harsh spotlit beam, to perform Can I Speak?&nbsp;And&nbsp;his performance serves as therapy as through the song,&nbsp;he reveals his struggle,&nbsp;grappling with coming to terms with his identity and who he is as a person.&nbsp;It builds to an explosive disco setting, which acts as comic relief whilst highlighting the idea of a light at the end of the tunnel for the artist.&nbsp;&nbsp;It's a mesmerising visual, with plenty of standout imagery, and a solid sense of direction from Maclaren who sets a splendidly off-kilter&nbsp;tone through to the very end.[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]&nbsp;&nbsp;

Connor Maclaren's video for Irish folk outfit Caroline explores a tale of nostalgia through the lens of an ailing old man, who is transported back to a golden time he spent with his first love.Seeing the knitted bracelet that she used to wear improves the old man's spirits. That that leads to a climactic dance in the hall where the band are performing. Both couples - one young, one old -&nbsp;join each other&nbsp;in a bittersweet moment.
