Gregg Houston directs a punchy performance&nbsp;promo for Wunderhorse.&nbsp;Shot in an empty office building, the video focuses solely on performance, without frills or superfluous additions - and that's what makes it so spectacular.&nbsp;Imbuing the visual with a sense of high-energy vigour, the band are completely absorbing from every angle, and the gritty textures of the 16mm film lends a rawness and intimacy to the concept.&nbsp;"These guys are earning a reputation for intense live shows and so for this music video we kept things very simple and let them do their thing," Houston says.&nbsp;"We found a pleasing location and got as much 16mm film as we could afford. What else do you need! With roughly one take per angle, the gentlemen gave it their all from the first moment. This is the director's cut so we were allowed to indulge ourselves with some 6fps footage and other flashes that took our interest."

Vasilisa Forbes explores overconsumption and excess in her satirical promo for retro power-popsters Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard.&nbsp;If you've never seen a singer&nbsp;force-fed junk food whilst being pinned down by sugary snacks, buckle up, you're in for a treat.&nbsp;Drowning in this sea of garbage and waste, we see the alternative indie group in a series of vibrant vignettes, shot in a mesmerisingly surreal fashion - with plenty of wide-angle lenses and awkward angles to elevate this effect.&nbsp;Forbes plays on the themes of the track by creating a literal world that echoes the issues staring us dead in the face, and does so in a tongue-in-cheek yet lamenting manner.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;

For every person with a drinking problem in the UK, five other people on average are affected. Director Rollo Hollins addresses this insight from Al-Anon directly in his new powerful music video for Bear’s Den’s track Hiding Bottles.In scenes that will sadly be familiar to many, the film centres on a family grappling with the impact of alcohol abuse. The video uses the idea of doubles to explore how alcoholism fractures realities for its victims and loved ones.&nbsp;Scenes of apparent ‘normal’ family life and happy home-video footage are juxtaposed with tense scenes of irresponsible parenting and arguments, unnervingly brought to life by the cast’s extraordinary performances.&nbsp;The use of of in-camera techniques and casting real-life identical twins made it possible to achieve uncanny shots of doubles of each family member living out different versions of their reality side by side in the same frame.
