Andy Margetson&#39;s short film for Lil Buck isn&#39;t a music video so much as a visual portrait set to music.Shot in the Fondation&nbsp;Louis Vuitton to promote their Schukin exhibition, and featuring delicate piano-led music by Sacha Galperine, the film is an effortless journey through the gallery space following Lil Buck as he dances down corridors and up stairs and between masterpieces. Every movement from both camera and performer is fluid and effortless. It feels natural and spontaneous, despite clearly being meticulously choreographed.The majority of the film is taken up by a minute and a half unbroken tracking shot following Lil Buck and it&#39;s impossible to take your eyes off him.

Luis Cerveró has directed this dazzling and cryptic&nbsp;pot pourri of&nbsp;tongue-in-cheek scenes, characterised by visual art, anachronistic&nbsp;lavishness, a bit of&nbsp;absurdity&nbsp;and number games.&nbsp;Whether it be the band playing to a highly&nbsp;unusual crowd, a hand rolling the dice, a girl&nbsp;spraying &#39;PRICKS&#39; on a wall, or painters&nbsp;showing their outsider art, each scene is part of a&nbsp;repeating structure that loops throughout, corresponding to an&nbsp;exact metric pattern and creating everchanging dialogue with the song.It&#39;s also very cool. And in explaining his work, Luis Cerveró says: &quot;This video is about predicting the future, writing bad graffiti, blurring identities, sliding doors, playing live with fake drummers and framing moustache portraits. Thomas Rhazi, recently signed to Division in Paris, has directed&nbsp;a slick and soothing&nbsp;video for Hawk House&#39;s &#39;Chill Pill (Experiment 2)&#39;, where the camera&#39;s smooth front to back motion is exploited as the real becomes surreal.The level of detail allows this simple premise to work, combining performance by this new old school&nbsp;hip-hop combo and fine art direction and (of course, as its a French-made video) well-executed VFX.&nbsp;

Alex explores the theme of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanitas" target="_blank">Vanitas</a>, applied to the realm of rock 'n roll, with an epic vision, and the relentless forward motion of his (&amp; Martin's) <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watchv=6j7huh5Egew" target="_blank">Seven Nation Army</a>. Wonderfully shot, and the FX work, by Mathematic in Paris, is superb.

An absorbing and cautionary tale of an unusual friendship for Aussie DJs Bag Raiders by Fleur &amp; Manu, the Paris-based directing team who directed the gripping pulp-narrative video for Tricky's <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2010/08/17/tricky%E2%80%99s-murder-weapon-by-fleur-manu/" target="_blank">Murder Weapon</a> last year. 
Fleur and Manu actually shot this in Bangkok, and worked with a chimp named Ho - renamed Coco for the video. "He was a bad ass to start with," says producer Jules De Chateleux. "But he turned out to be the greatest dude ever."
