Callum Lloyd-James brings the magic of Scalextric to life in this delightful promo for iconic rock band The Wombats.&nbsp;Shrinking the group down into miniature&nbsp;racecar drivers, we see a group of kids build their own racetrack in a bedroom, complete with fire effects, nostalgic 80's toys and a rickety Jenga set that is just begging to destroy the whole setup.&nbsp;The video is worth a watch&nbsp;for the facial expressions of the group alone. But along with the playful concept and great performances from the cast, it's a real ride that matches the energy of the anthemic track, brought together in a blistering edit by Lloyd-James himself.[imgtoken data:1]"The film was inspired by a combination of things, including Tron (1982), Owl City - Fireflies and the band's artwork for their new album," he says.&nbsp;"This all came together with a series of nods to the lyrics, Mariokart, Wacky Racers, as well as the artwork to the band's debut album."We shot the film on six different cameras, including mounting a GoPro to a Scalextric car to get the POV shots on the track. It was so interesting experimenting with all the different things we could do with the idea once we had it down on paper. The band really put their all with their performance too, which made my life a lot easier on set."It took a long time to develop and gave me a lot of headaches, but the team came together to make something I know we are all really proud of. Shout out to Jake Parker, Katie South and Thomas English to going above and beyond on this one. It was a massive undertaking and a colossal effort from everyone involved."

The latest episode in Greg Barth's ongoing collaboration with Easy Life is the&nbsp;whimsical video for Have A Great Day - and takes us back to the summertime and the English seaside.This one was inspired by the photography of Martin Parr, and shot on a windy day in Broadstairs, it transforms&nbsp;a typical British day at the beach into a slightly surreal experience.&nbsp;The video experiments with cyclical camera movements and a postcard gag,&nbsp;resetting the scene after each cycle. The characters get progressively messier - both in the literal and figurative meaning of the word - as they throw ice creams, start play-fighting and falling over themselves.&nbsp;The inspired blend of visual effects and live action creates a mesmerising aesthetic. Playful, characterful, and on the verge of chaotic - just like a day at the seaside. And its very Easy Life.&nbsp;

KC Locke brings some iconic symbols of luxury living to a warehouse setting, adorning the performances of Raye, Russ Millions and wewantwraiths for production team Da Beatfreakz's Money Calling.As usual Locke gets excellent performances from the featured artists through a variety of punchy set-ups, but its Raye who stands out, adding charisma and glamour to the proceedings. It's one of the best of her many music video appearances.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Da Beatfreakz, known for their big collab tracks, really did something special with this one," says Locke. "Working with Raye on this project was a great opportunity to give a contrast of femininity energy and dark beauty to a usually male-dominated drill genre of music. Raye is a natural performer and I feel together we really brought something special to the table."This is a great example of building relationships with artists and making the most of a shoot. Though the concept was simple I wanted the artists individual performances to stand out in their own unique way and feel crafted,raw and powerful."

James Slater directs a gothic fantasy for indie-rock outfit Pale Waves.&nbsp;Taking place in a nondescript church, the performance video is simple in concept, but executed to perfection, with vocalist Heather Baron-Gracie as the constant focus as a radiant goth bride.&nbsp;DoP&nbsp;Jon Muschamp's lighting adds an ethereal feel to the aesthetic, with effervescent bursts of colour inspired by stained glass windows and blue-tinged key lights to create a cold, almost haunting atmosphere.&nbsp;The production design is also a highlight, utilising scattered practical lights and candles to elevate the enigmatic concept.

Greentea Peng meditates on human nature, and a tumultuous year, in a perpetually-moving rollercoaster of a concept for Revolution devised by Melody Maker.&nbsp;Shot in Ridley Road market in Dalston, East London, the charismatic singer-songwriter delivers an absorbing performance and&nbsp;optimistic call to arms.&nbsp;Through the use of a motion control rig - operated by DoP Thomas English -&nbsp;the Dalston environment changes in front of our eyes, documenting the people, places and events that have taken place in this shared universal experience. &nbsp;“A result of recent turmoil: political, societal, and individual. 2020, a painfully transformative year for the collective," states Greentea Peng.&nbsp;"Revolution is a product of this pain and also the anger we’ve been struggling to move through, at the same time it represents the hope conjured. A reminder to remember where the first revolution must take place and also a reminder to be aware of where and what we put our energy and belief into.”
