Sophie Muller and co-director Theo Adams went to Blackpool to make&nbsp;a rollicking promo for new pop superstar-in-the-making Meek's irresistible anthem.&nbsp;And the result is, to quote it's instantly iconic lyrics,&nbsp;f*cking fabulous.&nbsp;Meek is unrestrained and unapologetic, resplendent in a succession of wonderful outfits, as she storms through Blackpool's backstreets and onto&nbsp;the glittering&nbsp;Golden Mile&nbsp;- while the song breaks out in all its Queen-like glory and you realise you may be hearing this one for the rest of your life.It's a rousing, empowering&nbsp;tour de force, with a sense of carefree optimism and joie de vivre radiating from Meek's charismatic presence. And there are some wonderful visual touches -&nbsp;from the singer's lady assistants on piano and sewing machine, to a drag queen dance troupe and a brief glimpse of Meek riding down the Golden Mile&nbsp;in&nbsp; Cinderella's coach&nbsp;- that make it a repeatable joy to watch. And after it's all over, she is off to the chip shop - still being absolutely Fabulous.This delivers the message of the song to perfection:&nbsp;the world may be going to pot, there's hell all over the place - but that shouldn't stop you looking and feeling good. The two mannequins clock each other, collide, and the storefront fantasy collapses out into the street. Rodrigo Inada, now working as a solo director, directs an extraordinary vision&nbsp;for Celeste, creating a world around the singer that's just as dramatic as&nbsp;her talent deserves.For the video for On With The Show, Celeste is a showgirl&nbsp;in an abstract, dreamlike version of a bygone age, trapped by her own persona, represented by the simple yet effective device of a life-like mask.Inada has created a complete vision - a forbidding world of shadows and light, brilliantly staged - from which the singer seeks&nbsp;to escape. The effect, coupled with Celeste's performance - she's a great singer, of course; comparisons with Billie Holiday are justifiable&nbsp;- is intense.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]"Set in a decadent cabaret... we find a showgirl (Celeste) who’s performance involves a mask, and she just been told by a mysterious man: 'it sees, you follow'," explains Inada. "From that moment a surreal journey starts, where the masked version of her is left with no reflection of her true self."When I was a kid the most terrifying thing for me was if one day I walked up to a mirror and I just lost my reflection. And I wanted to explore that on this video, what if one day your reflection just decided they don’t wanna be there for you anymore? "I just felt this story was speaking to me a lot in a way -&nbsp;that sometimes its just so easy to grasp on so many things in life but yourself -&nbsp;and it was really special collaborating with Celeste because for her this song was also about breaking free from expectations and performatic acts, and rather been yourself.[imgtoken data:2]"This video was really special for me, because I finally got to work and collaborate with really amazing and talented friends. It was amazing and special that I finally got to work with [EP] Jean Mougin, and reunited with one of my favourite producers Chris Murdoch. Charlotte Rutherford follows up her recent video with PinkPatheress with a real humdinger for returning Scandi pop princess Zara Larsson. It's sassy, messy and very saucy...Zara pulls up barefoot in a retro VW to an open field full of women doing stretching exercises. When she flips a switch on a giant wall of Marshall speakers, the bass blows her off her feet -and she&nbsp;rises in formation with the other girls. The ensuing dance routine, choreographed by Zoi Tatopoulos&nbsp;(a collaborator with FKA Twigs), is brazen and electrifyiung. But then, as the rain pours,&nbsp;it breaks down into something even more intense:&nbsp;pure feral mayhem.Filmed in Mexico City, on a ranch in Ajusco, Charlotte Rutherford tells Promonews: "Zara's song made me feel really ALIVE and inspired to be chaotic. I wanted to make something that feels aggressively positive, girly and uninhibited."That is exactly what Charlotte and her team have delivered - and it looks like they had an absolute&nbsp;blast making it.
