She snaps into motion, launching into performance, before the walls begin to shake — revealing Zara Larsson next door as the source of the disruption. The two mannequins clock each other, collide, and the storefront fantasy collapses out into the street. Then the&nbsp;the video leans into a knowing aesthetic swap, allowing familiar motifs to migrate between worlds.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:2]Glossy and knowingly self-aware, the video has quickly become an online fixation — pulled apart frame by frame as fans trade screenshots, clock references and revel in the crossover.&nbsp;So this video for Stateside feels less like a crossover and more like an inevitability.“Last year was a really fun journey working with both Zara and Pink, so to continue the collaboration and have the opportunity to smash the two worlds together felt like a dream come true," says Charlotte Rutherford about the project.&nbsp;"Their worlds are so different, but both feel like some version of a gift shop - so we wanted a battle of the gift shops that explodes into them switching aesthetics, extreme pop mash-up style."

Rodrigo Inada, now working as a solo director, directs an extraordinary vision&nbsp;for Celeste, creating a world around the singer that's just as dramatic as&nbsp;her talent deserves.For the video for On With The Show, Celeste is a showgirl&nbsp;in an abstract, dreamlike version of a bygone age, trapped by her own persona, represented by the simple yet effective device of a life-like mask.Inada has created a complete vision - a forbidding world of shadows and light, brilliantly staged - from which the singer seeks&nbsp;to escape. The effect, coupled with Celeste's performance - she's a great singer, of course; comparisons with Billie Holiday are justifiable&nbsp;- is intense.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]"Set in a decadent cabaret... we find a showgirl (Celeste) who’s performance involves a mask, and she just been told by a mysterious man: 'it sees, you follow'," explains Inada. "From that moment a surreal journey starts, where the masked version of her is left with no reflection of her true self."When I was a kid the most terrifying thing for me was if one day I walked up to a mirror and I just lost my reflection. And I wanted to explore that on this video, what if one day your reflection just decided they don’t wanna be there for you anymore? "I just felt this story was speaking to me a lot in a way -&nbsp;that sometimes its just so easy to grasp on so many things in life but yourself -&nbsp;and it was really special collaborating with Celeste because for her this song was also about breaking free from expectations and performatic acts, and rather been yourself.[imgtoken data:2]"This video was really special for me, because I finally got to work and collaborate with really amazing and talented friends. The video follows a stoic figure - vocalist Clari Freeman-Taylor - trudging through a muddy dirt track in the middle of a vast, barren field, carrying a small 1980s television.On the TV screen, a vibrant, expressive version of Clari’s face sings, juxtaposing her impassive expression as she presses forward. Connected to a long extension cable, the TV mirrors the tension in the track as the cord stretches to its breaking point.The textural, abstract aesthetic has hints of expressionism and experimental cinema, which creates an anachronistic, pensive atmosphere.
