Joseph Delaney's latest collaboration with Naked, plunges once again into the world of BDSM-flavoured&nbsp;Techno Goth, with this eye-opener for industrial-electronic outfit Bite.Following his video for the band's Drome and other works featuring the band's music, Delaney reveals the extreme bondage culture, from dungeon to dining hall, in ways that are extreme, experimental, harrowing and also very stylish. And Bite lead singer Agnes Gryczkowska is the compelling focus throughout.&nbsp;The video was made in collaboration with SORT: a multidisciplinary project born out of the underground queer/noise/techno crossover communities founded in 2015.

Mr Yankey takes us straight into the ring with Ric Flo, where the syllables bounce like quick jabs and the rap/pop culture punchlines are solid right hooks.&nbsp;In fact,&nbsp;the charismatic Flo is in the centre of a boxed set. The camera whips around him, punctuated by his punchlines as he performs against ever-changing backdrops that are representative of his lyrics. Almost as though we’re being whipped around the inside of a Rubik cube.When we reach a new end position the scenery has suddenly changed. As though each punch has knocked us into another world without leaving the room, keeping the audience on their toes, guessing what the next hit is going to deliver.&nbsp;And you may&nbsp;end up on the canvas.&nbsp;

A girl struggles with crippling anxiety at a social gathering - which manifests itself in a number of surreal but wholly identifiable ways, in the video for new artist Jax0n.The song Words, his debut single,&nbsp;was inspired by a friend's mental health issues that were spawned by his struggle with sexual identity, but most importantly, how the power of words helped him overcome this. In the accompanying narrative, Mr Yankey &amp; Jack Ker - aka Mr. Mr. -&nbsp;present an emotive and surreal vision of social anxiety and depression.The film focuses around a girl called Imogen, played by Lilli Mathod, and the personal challenges she faces within a houseparty, as her social anxiety throws her into the bleak and surreal world of her psyche. It's an extreme version of the social awkwardness felt by many of us - and as it turns out, a few words and gestures from others can change everything... &nbsp;

Joseph Delaney explores the world of Techno Goth - an subversive London club scene celebrating self-expression in fetishwear to a soundtrack of industrial noise - in this illuminating short doc.&nbsp;Part of Nowness&rsquo; ongoing&nbsp;series on underground scenes&nbsp;around the globe, Delaney&#39;s film bears witness to this tribe dressed in latex and Moschino gimp masks, featuring performances from dance noise duo Naked and DJ Judith Klempner.It also features&nbsp;voice overs from some major techno goth icons &ndash; Lee Adams, Yang Li and Lewis Burton - revealing that the ethos of the Techno-Goth culture&nbsp;is to be non-judgemental, and therefore far less intimidating than it may seem from the outside looking in.

And this time RC&#39;s Sophia Melvin talks to Joe Connor about his MVA-nominated video for Coldplay&#39;s Everglow.&nbsp;Not only does Joe&nbsp;reveal the secrets of how they achieved&nbsp;his scenario, where an ice dancer performs the routine of a couple on her own, he also explains how his concept had echoes in dancer Tanya Klobe&#39;s (and her invisible partner&#39;s)&nbsp;own backstory.&nbsp;The way he tells it is just about as moving as <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2017/03/21/coldplay-everglow-joe-connor" target="_blank">the video itself</a>.

Cut+Run&#39;s Sophia Melvin presents the latest Ruthless Cuts, the series that looks at how some of the most important music videos were made, from the standpoint of both production and the editing. And the new episode covers&nbsp;one of the standout videos of recent times, for Years &amp; Years&#39; Worship.Sophia spoke to Berlin-based director Matt Lambert, who worked closely with Years &amp; Years singer Olly Alexander and also top choreographer Ryan Heffington on the video which has been described as &quot;Supercharged magical queer creative energy&quot; by Alexander.With Lambert, Alexander and Heffington all being gay men, the video has been hailed as a championing of gay culture within the context of a mainstream music video. Which was reinforced by the fact the other dancers and other&nbsp;crew members were also gay - and also Jamie O&#39;Donnell, the editor of the video.O&#39;Donnell also talks to Sophia about how much free rein he&nbsp;was given by the director and the choreographer in cutting the long takes of choreography. A fascinating insight once again in the latest episode of this always-instructive series.

In the latest episode of&nbsp;Ruthless Cuts, the BTS series produced by&nbsp;Cut+Run&#39;s Promos+Content division, Sophia Melvin talks to director Ian Pons Jewell and his co-writer and producer Dobi Manalova&nbsp;about how they made the&nbsp;video for&nbsp;NAO&#39;s&nbsp;Bad Blood, released late last year.Ian explains how his characteristically&nbsp;arresting video - which features a completely naked&nbsp;Adja Kaba encountering various individuals, and administering a strange tree-growing effect out of their eyes and mouths&nbsp;- came to be made, the importance of the work by VFX artist Andy Brown and his producer Glen Percival at VFX facility and Cut+Run&#39;s sister company,&nbsp;Four Walls - and the importance of music video itself as a pure medium.&nbsp; &nbsp;The discussion was shot at Four Walls, with photography by Jessica Flavin.
