Charlie Robins directs a hypnotic promo for The Comet Is Coming.&nbsp;Unabashedly wild and atmospheric, the visual sees a small group of people driven insane by an enigmatic force, visualised in the form of a circle.&nbsp;Kept purposefully vague, Robins combines live action with elements of animation, demanding&nbsp;viewers to come to their own conclusion as to what's happening. One thing's for sure, it's not your everyday scenario.[imgtoken data:1]"This was always going to be pretty nuts," says Robins. "I had a great conversation with the band about the new album called Hyper Dimensional Expansion Beam. That name was enough of a jumping off point, and I just threw a load of crazy shit at it. It felt right to be weird and post-apocalyptic but also disorientating and fucked up. I wanted to make people feel a bit sick in all honesty. "The music is so crazy yet intricately put together, there is something beautifully chaotic about it which fit very well with some post and camera techniques I’ve been developing for a while."I worked very closely with the immense team at Agile (particularly the post guys!) to make this film happen. What a seriously talented, generous and wonderful bunch of humans they are."&nbsp;

Charlie Robins's engrossing video for Imanbek &amp; Goodboys slips gracefully from documentary to drama to full-blown surrealism in this story of a high-stakes horse race within the traveller community.With access to a hidden world, courtesy of the Frankham family, scions of the London traveller community, Robins chronicles the bond between a young man and his horse, and the conflict with a rival that leads to a thrilling event that could only happen within the community - a horse-and-trap race down an English country lane.&nbsp;Robins and his DoP Pieter Snyman deliver this action sequence with thrilling camerawork, and then add a layer of impressionistic visuals that elevates the piece to another level. That makes this a very rewarding, genuinely cinematic experience.

Charlie Robins explores dance culture in his brilliant video for Rudimental.&nbsp;Opening with a preamble where several characters discuss their love for dance and movement, the video documents the ritual of a night out, albeit under current social distancing guidelines.The group of friends inhabit an almost empty nightclub space, but none of them are bothered in the least. They dance, pose, pop bottles of champagne and relish in the glow of strobes and laser lights.&nbsp;Reminding us of drunken nights on the dancefloor with our nearest and dearest, the hyper-stylised aesthetic and contrasting neon colours (care of DoP&nbsp;Pieter Snyman)&nbsp;feel&nbsp;incredibly contemporary and reflective of an optimistic future post-Covid.&nbsp;
