Anonymous collective WDNSDY pay homage to their cultural upbringing and heritage in Omar Blair-Mangat's video for Runaway Slave Freestyle.&nbsp;The video is set on a rooftop in Hackney,&nbsp;intercutting archival footage of a 2001 rave at the now-closed Enfield superclub Eros. Heavily influenced by Jamaican sound system culture, with members hailing from the islands, this is a tribute to WDNSDY's formative years, the visuals referencing the looks, sounds and dance of the Nineties, Noughties and the last decade.The mystery surrounding the North London-based collective is represented on screen through the use of face masks, creating more of a universal entity pushing a movement, as opposed to individuals working separately. The cinematography is crisp and sharp, which juxtaposes nicely with the archival lo-fi footage.&nbsp;

Shot in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire over two days during the summer, Lucy Luscombe&#39;s evocative video for Darkstar&#39;s The Days Burn Blue is a series of intimate portraits of happy, carefree local youth - some of whom are close to meeting the harsh realities of adulthood face-to-face.&quot;I was interested in what a coming-of-age might feel like to a kid in a town outside of London during the &#39;age of austerity&#39; &ndash;&nbsp;a surreal transition from the expectation of childhood, to the exhilaration of emerging adulthood, to the quiet realisation that fulfilling your dreams in modern Britain is perhaps an impossibility,&quot;&nbsp;says the director, who moved to Huddersfield during pre-production, getting to know the place and the community before shooting the film - the third in a series of commissions by Warp Records for Channel 4&rsquo;s Random Acts.&nbsp;&nbsp;Luscombe, who has now joined the directors&#39; roster at&nbsp;Caviar in London, continues: &quot;The talent, promise and character I encountered amongst the youth in Huddersfield was overwhelming.&nbsp;Really bright kids with big dreams and little infrastructure to realise them. It makes you the wonder what genius is slipping through the net.&quot;

We follow a young couple on the road experiencing the highs and lows of leaving their day-to-day lives for a wild trek across Europe, culminating in a banging warehouse gig.
&ldquo;I wanted to make a video that was charming and real&rdquo; says Luke. &ldquo;I wanted it to feel like we were stumbling in on this couple&rsquo;s journey.
&ldquo;There&rsquo;s a narrative in there, but it was more about a feeling when you watch the video. Hopefully the vibes of young love, freedom and companionship, come through. I didn&rsquo;t want anyone doing heroin in a bath in this video, just good times and dildo&rsquo;s, man&rdquo;.
