After the audacious <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2023/07/05/bakar-alive-rubberband/82265" target="_blank">Alive!</a> - shot in Piccadilly Circus&nbsp;- rubberband. reunite with Bakar to direct another&nbsp;marvellous promo for the British singer-songwriter, bringing him to his audience&nbsp;in quite a different way.&nbsp;It begins in a stylised room interior, with Bakar at the keyboard, joined by two other musicians.&nbsp;It's filmed on a single locked-off camera in the corner of the room, and only when the view from the window&nbsp;starts to move that we realise that this room is quite literally being driven around as they perform, around the bustling streets of London.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]Growing in energy as the performance progresses, the video ends with a group of fans crowding the room set, trying to get a glimpse of the artist.&nbsp;It's an inspired concept that takes a simple idea - inspired by Swedish comedy auteur Roy Andersson - and&nbsp;executes it brilliantly.&nbsp;"I’m Done was supposed to be a live performance video," reveal the directing duo. "But we wanted to drive a room around London as an homage to Roy Andersson’s You, The Living. So that’s what we did.”

Rapper Keynes Woods tussles with his alter-ego, and the strange goings-on in a deserted factory, in Luke Tierney's impressive video for Tim Burt, from his EP Kongo Kane.With Keynes Woods running through the corridors of this abandoned building, he takes a breather, and begins performing, before we notice a second, bare-chested&nbsp;Keynes - a more playful, manic version. The work becomes a series of stylish set-pieces in a weird game of cat and mouse, showcasing the rapper's assured presence in both his guises. And Tierney increasingly employs a simple yet highly effective visual device, where the original Keynes's movement&nbsp;trips the lighting of a room between red and blue.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;With fabulous cinematography by Joel Honeywell,&nbsp;the use of composition and colour make this a properly cinematic experience, steeped in the atmosphere of horror, but confidently veering into comedy and the surreal. A hell of a ride.&nbsp;&nbsp;

A group of soldiers are trapped in a harrowing version of Groundhog Day in Luke Tierney's creative video for Black Square's Coral Blues.&nbsp;The visual opens with several injured soldiers&nbsp;on their knees, wounded and exhausted. A well-dressed woman adorns one of the men with a necklace, but when she tries to do the same to the leader of the group, he lashes out in&nbsp;a violent rage. This scene repeats with different reactions, but one thing's for sure - it isn't going to stop anytime soon.&nbsp;Balancing trippy steadicam shots and a clever use of VFX, Tierney creates an authentic and believable world which is as haunting as it is aesthetically beautiful. The church location adds an onimous and cinematic sensibility, the delapidated rooms and scattered papers mirroring the theme of time going by uncontrollably.&nbsp;

Jocelyn Anquetil's video for King Krule, set on the overcast banks of the River Thames, was inspired by&nbsp;the artist otherwise known as Archy Marshall’s personal story of of loneliness and isolation.Archy finds himself in various locations and scenarios, all of which reflect his mentality from being boxed in by a group of eclectic individuals. He becomes&nbsp;stuck inside a mirrored room,&nbsp;representing his state of mind and the chaos of the track. It&nbsp;concludes with Archy being able to emerge from his dark place, with wife and new baby.

Mumford &amp; Sons brought their ambitious new live show to the O2 in London on 29th November last year.&nbsp;Dick Carruthers, directing legend of live music, who had filmed the band during their tour of South Africa a couple of years ago - released as Blood &amp; Thunder&nbsp;- came on board to chronicle the occasion, and from that&nbsp;has come this vibrant and emotional distillation of the evening,&nbsp;from soundcheck to the very end of the show.At its core is the performance that climaxed the whole show: Delta, the title track of the new album. It begins with the band playing the first section of this slow-burning&nbsp;epic during the soundcheck, in an empty arena. Then it transforms into a packed O2, and we witness that remarkable connection that the band has with their&nbsp;audience.With the stage in the middle of the arena, it&#39;s a radically different show&nbsp;for a band that have always been known for setting up in a line across a stage. Here at the O2, the crowd envelop Mumford &amp; Sons from all sides. And Carruthers&#39; command of his multi-camera team ensures that you get the complete scale of the occasion as well as the small treasurable details of the band&#39;s performance on stage - and the warmth between them.
