Following their recent&nbsp;collaboration on the visual for&nbsp;Water, Adam De Silva returns to direct the video&nbsp;for Northampton rapper&nbsp;DeBe’s&nbsp;Not That Strong - the fifth track from his debut project&nbsp;The Last Breath.Juxtaposing the cheeky arrogance that he displayed in Water, this one plunges DeBe headfirst into a brutal gangland scene. From this tense situation comes&nbsp;a more reflective mental state as he grapples with the trials and tribulations of his past. While he faces his execution, we also see another DeBe - the white tracksuited gangster boss. Although we may think that a flashback to his former self, there is a twist in this tale.&nbsp;DeBe's double performance is charismatic throughout, and De Silva has brought some powerful artistic&nbsp;influences - Caravaggio, Gregory Crewdson - into play on the video, as he explains below.The&nbsp;close relationship that director and artist developed through making their first video has made this one possible, and&nbsp;DoP Bart Bazaz gives the scenario a cinematic heft that belies the budget - filmed on a cold spring&nbsp;night where temperatures plummeted to a bone-chilling -4 C˚.[imgtoken data:1]

Director Georgina Cammalleri reunites with Swim Deep, following her music video for To Feel Good&nbsp;earlier this year.&nbsp;Sail Away, Say Goodbye&nbsp;carries all of the Birmingham band’s psychedelic-tinged dream pop, and tells a story of grief that is very personal to lead singer Austin Williams – the song is about the loss of his grandmother after her battle with dementia.We find the band on board a boat that’s lost and going nowhere. Their fortunes take a turn for the worse when a crack in the boat lets water in and sends the boys into the ocean. However, instead of a watery demise, the band find something very different lurking beneath the surface. Cammalleri brings an element of magical realism to the video, giving this sad story a transformative feeling and a sense of hope.“In the face of a desperate situation I wanted to use magical realism to turn the fate of the band around and inject a sense of hope," she says. "Sometimes things arise in life in a way that initially appear as a threat, but ultimately help us to move forward and survive.”The shoot took place over two days. The team purchased a rowing boat and transported it to Ramsgate, where filming took place from the fishing vessel Sea Searcher, out in the middle of the North Sea. The underwater material was filmed in an underwater tank in Croydon.
