Avesta Keshtmand directs a slick, studio-set promo for up-and-coming girl group FLO.&nbsp;With a stripped-back, futuristic vibe, we see the trio perform their track Immature in a black infinity studio, with minimalist art direction that suggests a sci-fi, space-inspired environment.&nbsp;The focus here is on introducing viewers to the new group, and with sharp choreography, inspired styling and an effortlessly cool vibe, it's clear why the girls are already creating such a buzz.&nbsp;"With Immature, I wanted to transport FLO into a new aesthetic realm, showing them in power and prowess for their second video," says director Keshtmand.

Avesta Keshtmand directs a transcendent promo for&nbsp;Emma-Jean Thackray.Inspired by the themes and aesthetics of sci-fi, psychedelia&nbsp;and B-movies, Thackray and Keshtmand tell the story of an outsider at a dinner party, full of mass-produced foods and judgemental side-glances. Lost in her own world, Emma-Jean is then transported to somewhere more natural, flowery and free.Oozing a sense of carefree nostalgia, the video is mesmerising to look at, and celebrates the maximalist art and aesthetics of the time period it pays homage to.&nbsp;Avesta Keshtmand is a British-Afghan filmmaker living and working in London.&nbsp;Last year, Keshtmand was one of five unsigned British directors to win a place on Three Minutes,&nbsp;Crack Magazine’s incubator scheme funding five music videos by rising talents. The scheme is produced in association with our production company Ground Work and made possible by Burberry, Shure and BFI NETWORK.
