Davis Silis, take a bow. This perfectly choreographed fight sequence with a twist manages to accomplish a hell of a lot in a confined space.An empty carriage on a Victoria Line underground, two men in the throes of a brawl that could have been lifted straight from any action/thriller. Silis knows this and uses it to play with the form of the trope, and how it contrasts with the themes of the song. Asking the question &quot;why do we hurt the ones we love?&quot; without providing a clear-cut answer, the video takes some unexpected twists and turns without ever leaving the carriage.The video is made even more impressive when you know that one of the fighters (Formation&#39;s Will Riston) actually dislocated his arm very early in the shoot, and still pulled out a pretty fantastic performance.

Newcomer&nbsp;Benn Veasey has directed this&nbsp;twisted take on the classic rap video, playing with&nbsp;the themes of power, struggle and control in a surprising way.It sees London rapper&nbsp;CD Spinz strutting down a residential street in London before getting&nbsp;in over his head by creating a&nbsp;demon out of a stranger on the street.&nbsp;It&#39;s a bizarre and engaging&nbsp;clip, especially when the&nbsp;woman-turned-demon&nbsp;runs away, turns on him, gets him in a headlock, takes his life&nbsp;and&nbsp;steals&nbsp;his rapping skills. And its nicely shot by Doug Walshe.&nbsp;

Ian Pons Jewell has outdone himself in his video for Irish rapper&nbsp;Rejjie Snow&#39;s&nbsp;Blakkst Skn, with a unique and captivating&nbsp;commentary on race set against a story of forbidden love.&nbsp;Like his video for&nbsp;<a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2015/11/19/nao-bad-blood-ian-pons-jewell" target="_blank">NAO</a>&nbsp;released a few weeks ago,&nbsp;Blakkst Skn is&nbsp;uncanny&nbsp;and more than slightly off-kilter&nbsp;scene which&nbsp;melds with the song lyrics and commands the viewer&#39;s&nbsp;interpretation. The video sees the rapper living in a sewer, accompanied by a homeless man and looked down at through a drainage opening&nbsp;by a red-haired woman who is at street level.Then, we&#39;re jolted by a&nbsp;thought-provoking sequence,&nbsp;revealing that&nbsp;the woman is anything but ordinary, as she&nbsp;turns Rejjie into a extraordinary,&nbsp;gold-skinned man.&nbsp;

Here&#39;s a couple of guys doing what young guys do - but they happen to be really old.South London rapper Loyle Carner&nbsp;and director&nbsp;Joao Retorta have collaborated on this video for&nbsp;Ain&#39;t Nothing Changed, in which&nbsp;Carner gets up to his usual routine, but also&nbsp;transformed into an old man. Driven by the&nbsp;dispiriting chorus which matches&nbsp;the song&nbsp;title, the video does well to visually illustrate the idea that even after decades have&nbsp;passed, Carner still faces the same old problems.&nbsp;On the other hand, he&#39;s still making tuens, and then going to the pub with his best mate (who happens to be the&nbsp;real life producer on the video)...&nbsp;

That&#39;s an interesting visual device to depict the momentary&nbsp;escape from darkness and misery offered by drug use, and the narrative plays out in a series of short scenes showing how the man&#39;s past seems to be&nbsp;repeating itself, despite his best efforts.&nbsp;
