Greg Houston - aka Babysweet - brings a cinematic sensibility to bear on his stirring performance video for irish threepiece Kingfishr.The video for Anyway builds from the band's journey on the back of a flatbed truck in a dramatic forest setting, locked in a brooding tension - to the climactic scene around a roaring bonfire, with the trio uniting in performance of the song.&nbsp;"As a director I feel a real bond with Kingfishr as they contacted me directly about doing a live session just months after they first formed," says Babysweet. "I agreed to do it and was blown away. They were as naturally talented, authentic and green as they come. I knew good things would happen for them if they kept going and they truly have.[imgtoken data:1]"It was by coincidence OB Management asked me to pitch on their new single and I was fully on board. Meeting their families and seeing where they literally live on the live session planted the idea for this video. It's based around the concept of leaving where you are most comfortable because you feel an urge to share something with a wider circle."There are always reasons not to do something. To stay where you are, stay in your lane. I tried to get the idea of the band leaving for the new frontiers that their music is destined but showing that it happens not without self doubt but when the lads all together they can and surely will conquer it."

Niall O’Brien directs an absorbing, ultimately tender video for Talos's returning single Dance Against The Calm.&nbsp;Shot in Cork, the hometown of the Irish indie/electronic musician&nbsp;otherwise known as Eoin French,&nbsp;the promo sees the lead character (played by&nbsp;Sam Keeley) hang out at a local pub, drinking away his demons and grappling with a storm of emotions.&nbsp;Enigmatic flashbacks offer a small glimpse into a narrative, but not enough for it to become a key part of the story. Not quite yet, at least. Instead, after a quick break outdoors, Keeley returns to the bar, and is immediately comforted by every one of the patrons, who wrap their arms around him in a giant hug, allowing him to express his emotions freely.&nbsp;“It’s a song about lost futures, and a nostalgia that we sometimes carry for things that could have been,” says Eoin French - aka Talos. And the video is the&nbsp;first chapter in a three-part short directed by O'Brien.

"Every mix of bliss and pain and glory is felt in the terraces each week, but it's been lost for us all since the world changed overnight. Being back in the stands as 'To Have You' was shot felt like a shower of relief and beauty, and I can't thank Niall enough for his vision and understanding of what it all means."The track is very much about survival, reflecting on a world me and mine grew up through and confronting those who question it. I am blessed to be able to hear this in a new light now as it's mixed with Niall's art."

Fontaines D.C. bassist Connor Deegan III remotely directs the cinematic visual for I Don't Belong.Capturing a lonely intensity&nbsp;through the cinematography, the visual explores&nbsp;the connection between the safety of being on land and the relative risk and unknown nature of the water, which is a metaphorical riff on the song's lyrics.&nbsp;Vocalist Grain Chattan's performance starts inland, on a large field backdropped by a massive windmill. By the end of the video, he is enveloped by the water, the journey of the track coming to a close, completely consumed by his inner thoughts and anxieties.GRIAN CHATTAN:&nbsp;"This song is a dismissal of the expectations of other people who consider themselves loyal to you. We wanted it to be a statement, almost like the anti-Big [opening song on first album&nbsp;Dogrel], which is why we put it as the first song on the new album. This sentiment of not belonging can be liberating in a way, but it's also lonely and sad. We wanted to show both sides of that type of loneliness."One verse is about a soldier who has his bravery commended by his country, but throws his medal down and refuses to accept the commendation. He sees it as a hijacking and commodification of his principles. The other verse is about someone causing a ruckus in a bar, refusing to be enticed by any sort of friendliness and kindness, wanting to remain in the wrong corner.&nbsp;"I had a few cans before I recorded the vocals, I wanted it to sound like I was playing the role of embittered barfly and feel like the soundtrack of someone swaying themselves home after a cold night out - full of principles but surrounded by nobody."&nbsp;CONOR DEEGAN III:&nbsp;<blockquote>The idea was to use the limitations to our benefit. To try to match the emotional feel of the song but without being heavy-handed.</blockquote>"We had a whole different video shoot planned in London, then all the restrictions hit so we had to figure out how to do something remotely from back home in Ireland. Telling a visual story parallel to the lyrics."I remotely directed the video from Co.Mayo, on the west coast of Ireland, where I am from. It was shot on location on the east coast of Ireland, in Skerries, where Grian is from."Grian’s character goes on a walk, passing by all these places. He’s telling us this dramatic story that slowly grows as the verses go on. At the start you do and you don’t really get a sense of the anxiety or negativity to come. It’s buried under the surface. At the end he submerges himself, completely consumed by his inner thoughts finally coming out into the world."
