Ellius Grace directs a gripping folk horror-inspired promo for Irish alternative folk singer-songwriter Junior Brother.&nbsp;In the&nbsp;video for the track Junior Brother's Favourite, we see a young man stalked by a harrowing creature, who seems intent on taking something from him.&nbsp;It's a tale where dread, fear and madness coalesce&nbsp;into a fever pitch, two memorable characters set within a rural Irish setting which is captured in wonderfully textural, sepia-tinged cinematography by Aidan Gault.Balanced by a stripped-back, monochromatic performance setup, it's a lovely piece of work that is haunting in all the right places, and definitely sticks in your memory.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;

Craig Gorman and his biker gang wheelie their way through Dublin's suburbs, in&nbsp;Lewis Cater's promo for Workout.&nbsp;In the video, we see vocalist Alex Hosking lead&nbsp;a fitness class in a warehouse space, intercut with the biker action just up the road.&nbsp;Eventually, both worlds collide as the boys crash the class, and Gorman gets on the decks to amp up the party vibes.&nbsp;Aidan Gault's cinematography carefully treads the line between gritty exterior scenes and polished interiors, creating the contrast between the worlds, and the lighting in the warehouse space - consisting of several pastel-coloured light sources illuminating different sections of the space - really elevates the aesthetic.&nbsp;

Klaas Diersmann tells a supernatural-edged love story&nbsp;set in spectacular Irish landscapes for Twin Atlantic.The Glasgow band's lead singer&nbsp;Sam McTrusty plays the male half of a troubled relationship in which his partner is lured by the strange pink neon shapes&nbsp;that float around the lush Kildare countryside. Diersmann's integration of these alien lights and shapes is brilliantly done through practical effects and post VFX is brilliantly done to give the video its attractively ethereal atmosphere.“After an initial chat with Klaas, I knew he understood the vision for the video instantly," says McTrusty.&nbsp;"I was blown away by the remote beauty of Kildare, Ireland, and it only added to the mystique.”

Locky tells a sombre and moving story inspired by the life of Clive and Deborah Wearing, in the video for Irish singer-songwriter Paul Noonan.What might first appear as a tale of loss in a traditional sense is actually rooted in something much less common.&nbsp;Clive Wearing is believed to have one of the most severe cases of anterograde amnesia ever recorded. His abilities to perform learned tasks like speaking and walking remained intact, but experiential memory was erased. His emotional memory, however, remained intact.The illness Clive suffered from has been described as forgetting where and why you are somewhere in the blink of an eye, and the long cuts to black as a transition is a great visual tool to represent this. The desaturated colour palette feels almost lifeless, the colour has been drained away, symbolising the frustrations and regrets the characters experience. Hauntingly beautiful, the concept is as brilliant as the track it is paired with, and it makes for an emotional viewing experience.
