Drawing inspiration from the early rave days and grainy VHS videos, Taichi Kimura&#39;s video for Sub Focus follows a group of friends as they head out to an underground warehouse party. The video takes the viewer back to the era that influenced both artists&rsquo; careers and style.Kimura, who&rsquo;s originally from Japan, says: &ldquo;To try and portray London in a different manner looking from the outside in, that was my biggest challenge for this project. I used locations and outfits to create a futuristic London.&rdquo;

With a supporting cast, we watch the dancing of an ordinary day&nbsp;play out before our eyes as our hero (dancer Robby Graham) gets progressively more agitated as it repeats itself Groundhog-style. The cycle continues before he sees red in a cathartic display. &nbsp;

London's Anti-Pop Princess GIRLI invites all her internet friends to party in this clip by Stroma Cairns.Using a variety of media sources from still photographs and old DV cameras to more conventional HD footage, GIRLI&nbsp;parties away with an entourage of her closest friends (some of whom are actually girls she's met on the internet).Taking some of the lyrics about i-D magazine aesthetics and youth culture and making an on-the-nose video around them is a clever piece of work that seems to both capture and satirize some of the cooler aspects of being young in 2016.

Meji Alabi and&nbsp;Maleek Berry pair up again after the success of their last collaboration, <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2016/01/25/maleek-berry-ft-sneakbo-my-people-meji-alabi" target="_blank">For My People</a>.&nbsp;Their latest release for Kontrol is a tongue-in-cheek video that sees the artist sat in a chair, flicking through the channels, deciding which female dancer to check out. Occasionally deciding to give one of them control - by literally giving them the remote - when he feels like it.It&#39;s a colourfully art-directed piece with some great twerk action and an array of backdrops for Maleek to playfully exercise his &#39;Kontrol.&#39;

Oh my good lord.&nbsp;James Lawes&#39; presents a scene of domestic normality, in his video for Cat&#39;s Eyes&#39; Drag. But as his protagonists are the band&#39;s Faris Badwan and Rachel Zeffiri, they are manifestly ill-suited to this scenario. And that expresses itself in extreme, wince-inducing&nbsp;violence.&nbsp;This is a deadpan comedy&nbsp;with a very dark edge indeed - and it doesn&#39;t let up.&nbsp;Not for the squeamish, but awfully entertaining.&nbsp;And Badwan and Zeffira are bloody great.&nbsp;&nbsp;

It&#39;s all about a front door that would rather be having a thrill-seeking adventure than just hanging around - hotly pursued by its owner, a girl whose birthday cake candle-blowing&nbsp;moment has been ruined, and her camera-wielding boyfriend.&nbsp;As the door becomes a hoverboard, and the girl and boy catch up with it, there&#39;s some&nbsp;Back To The Future-style action transposed to London&#39;s grimy streets - a suitably lively accompaniment to the catchy, post-punky track.
