Lewis Cater directs a fascinating spin on the Frankenstein story, in this minacious promo for Los Angeles-based duo World's First Cinema.&nbsp;In the video for Make Me A Monster, we see a trio of dancers surrounding a mystery man,&nbsp; performing ritualistic movements as a preacher spouts Latin phrases from a seemingly ancient text.&nbsp; The mystery man and preacher were in fact played by band members John and Fil.Breathing life into the character, he is soon&nbsp;on his feet and ready for a sweeping violin solo, adding a sense of drama and intrigue to the project.&nbsp;Beautifully realised with top-notch cinematography and art direction, it's a wonderful introduction to the theatrical world of the artists.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;

When small pets start going missing from the neighbourhood, Cavetown (aka Robin Skinner) plays amateur sleuth - and gets caught up in an unfolding injustice - in Lewis Cater’s riveting video for Ur Gonna Wish U Believed Me.Switching between a courtroom scene - where Cavetown&nbsp;is the defendant - and the events that preceded it, Cater makes an utterly absorbing drama from this small yet timely story. Cavetown pleads his case to the stern magistrate on the bench by performing the song, and the prosecutor and shifty pet shop owner - claiming ownership of the pets - invert the truth and falsely accuse him&nbsp;of theft.With taught directing and editing, Lewis Cater creates a new&nbsp;take on the classic scenario of the individual unjustly caught on the grinding wheels of justice and establishment power. Last seen bathing gorgeous mutts in Used To Be, Anna has worked a stint as a dog groomer, moonlit as a guardian angel, and stalked the streets of Miami at night.&nbsp;After all that, she deserves a bit of peace and quiet. So, with the help of her costumed friends - her ice cream lover, a hot dog, two toilets,&nbsp;and a singing burger - she sabotages a dinner date so she can have a restaurant to herself.Barber has an eye for the magic of suburbia, and the video boasts some glowing photography by Aaron Rogers.
