Directing duo&nbsp;Helena Ganjalyan and Bartosz Szpak have created a mesmerising dance film to accompany composer/producer Stefan Wesolowski's brooding and ominous composition Core.Filmed on the streets of Warsaw, the film follows four characters negotiating their surroundings in a somnambulant state. Their narcolepsy is the basis for their unpredictability, shifting between stillness and sudden swaying movement, wearing expressions of confusion and fatigue.This is beautifully captured by the directors, focussing on the range of characters, from young student to well-to-do woman, silver-clad street performer and middle aged businessman. And its transported to another level by the radiant monochrome cinematography by&nbsp;Tymoteusz Pieszka.[imgtoken data:1]"In our concept we start our exploration from the Japanese concept of&nbsp;inemuri&nbsp;- a short nap taken in a public place," state Helena Ganjalyan and Bartosz Szpak.&nbsp;"We are interested in a consideration of human presence in a world that emanates constant development, momentum and movement - symbolised by a large, multi-layered city."Experienced directors in Poland,&nbsp;they have worked with brands such as Google, Samsung, PUMA, Coca-Cola, Audi, Hertz, mBank, Audioteka, Disney, Virgin Mobile, Pernod Ricard.&nbsp;Ganjalyan’s background is also choreography, theatre direction and photography, and Szpak’s in music composition and directing audio productions. Their debut feature film&nbsp;Glorious Summer&nbsp;had its world premiere at South By Southwest 2025, and they are currently they are developing their second film,&nbsp;Two Peas.

Saman Kesh returns to music videos and reunites with Ed Sheeran for the vibrant, high-energy promo, strong on Iranian influences and flavour,&nbsp;for Azizam.&nbsp;Shot like a fever dream, the video&nbsp;celebrates culture, movement, food and the universal intensity of human connection. Rex Orange County becomes the on-screen narrator of a confessional episode in Nick Walker’s very literal yet sharply executed&nbsp;video for Alexander.Staying entirely true to the autobiographical story structure of the song, Walker recreates the uncomfortable yet revealing encounter between the artist and his doctor in an elevated dramatic scenario.Following a long (very Randy Newman-ish) instrumental intro, and flourishes of VFX - including bullet-time tracking shots through a chaotic medical waiting room - Rex performs the song to camera, more or less, during an exchange with a medical professional who is telling him things he does not really want to hear.Walker points out that the song is relatable, and even with the elements in the video that are heightened, including strong cinematography from DoP Adam Singodia,&nbsp;“it still feels like a scene of your own life played out in your head.” And at its core, it’s the winning performance of Rex and his elder medical adversary, played by Tim Webster, that makes it work."I think we paired the visuals to the song really well," adds Walker. "We’ve all been in that head space where it almost feels like the thing we can only entertain is our own pain and everything feels like a blur. Lillie Eiger directs a mesmerising promo for British-Malaysian singer-songwriter&nbsp;Chloe Qisha&nbsp;- seemingly from an insect's POV. &nbsp;Eiger provides a suitably playful video to complement catchy pop anthem I Lied I'm Sorry, capturing Chloe as she climbs a winding staircase in her underwear - shot on a mini-drone, so it appears from the perspective of a pestering insect.The camera floats in and out of the action, taking momentary breaks to fly outside and into other rooms.&nbsp;It's a cool and effective concept to introduce Chloe Qisha&nbsp;through an unusual but enthusiastic performance.&nbsp;"I wanted to make a fluid 'one take'&nbsp;video where Chloe performs a choreographed dance while ascending a staircase, the camera effortlessly buzzing with and around her from dynamic perspectives as she performs," says Eiger."This video is all about her odd performance, taking a stab at making an iconic dance and moving the camera in artful, gravity defying ways."

Deadhorses direct a dazzling promo for Finnish-born, multi-lingual&nbsp;singer Joalin, with a hyperactive aesthetic&nbsp;achieved through quickfire edits, innovative camera techniques and textural overlays.Shooting in famous London locations like The Barbican and Southbank, the video for Without You is a colourful and kinetic visual feast that showcases Joalin's dynamic style in a fresh and fun way.&nbsp;"For this ultra-catchy, rap-reggaeton hybrid we wanted to make an iconic video that matches the song's energy and showcases Joalin’s trilingualism and immense talents as a street dancer," say Deadhorses."Cinematically, our visual approach was taken from 70s US Indie and 90s Hong Kong cinema, especially their use of long zoom lenses and wide angle lenses. We love the hard impact and visual flair that you get when juxtaposing extreme wides and ultra close-ups."The arcade and fish tank scenes in particular were so much fun to film, the camera had to be literally inches from Joalin’s face, we also managed to get a bit of lip-sync performances from one of the fish featured in the tanks which was a highlight for sure![imgtoken data:1]"We were so grateful to be working with the daring DoP Jed Darlington-Roberts again (always a dream) who smashed it out of the park mixing up a bizarre array of old school and cutting edge techniques such as smearing vaseline on the lens and attaching 360 camera to the inside of the arcade games so that we spin in real time."Another big visual novelty was getting Hank Zoid on board who has a truly unique 16-camera rig that captures 3D bullet-time video maps and interspersed the 16-images into a single slow-mo image you can navigate through. This was the first time this technology was used for a music video and we think it really makes the arcade scenes standout, bringing a breath of fresh air to proceedings.."We had never worked with Joalin before, but it was a dream! We found her infectiously upbeat and energetic from the first call we had with her. It was great how involved in the filmmaking process, styling and design she was, clearly driven to make a standout video, even if it involves being in a bathtub on Southbank at dusk with a hundred tourists taking pictures of you."Getting permits in three days with a limited budget for such prized locations was by no means an easy feat, so, a massive shout out is due to our amazing production team especially our brilliant producer Ash and Liam from Blend films who put in the graft, working night and day at the point the project was greenlit to pull rabbits out of hats and materialise our crackpot ideas."

Directing duo Waxxwork direct an atmospheric promo to herald the return of London Grammar - and the band's new drum &amp; bass direction - which explores the internal states of a individuals at a houseparty, through an unusual device.&nbsp;The video for London Grammar's House takes place with the party at its height, and in dreamlike fashion, follows a house fly who moves&nbsp;from room to room, introducing us to the different partygoers.Counter-intuitively to what you might expect in this scenario&nbsp;the video is all about moments of reflection.&nbsp;There is a&nbsp;focus on calm, almost transcendent moments which creates a sense of mystery, interspersed with frantic POV shots to ramp up the energy intermittently.&nbsp;Waxxwork - Timothy Casten and Vikesh Govind - combine great use of cinematography and dizzying display of VFX work to establish this atmosphere, very much in the style they have established in their previous work.&nbsp;"We wanted to use the fly as a catalyst and vehicle for our characters to meditate on their place in the world, and the beauty of the present moment," say Waxxwork.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Kasabian fall to Earth from 15,000 feet in an adrenalin-fuelled thrill-ride&nbsp;by director duo Waxxwork.The video for Call captures the performance of Kasabian frontman Sergio Pizzorno, beaming out from the screen of an iPhone as it plunges to the ground, after it was dropped from a airborne helicopter.Sky-divers jumped from the 'copter&nbsp;in Albanian airspace (where aerospace laws would allow it) with a pre-edited&nbsp; video of Pizzorno's performance playing in real time on the device - having begun the 'call' on the phone moments before their leap. The effect is suitably intense.[imgtoken data:1]Directed by filmmaking duo Waxxwork (Timothy Casten and Vikesh Govind), the music video’s surreal chaos is matched by the film’s grade&nbsp;by Studio RM’s Myles Bevan - his third collaboration with the directors and first since the UKMVA-nominated video for London Grammar and Camelphat’s song Higher last year.
