UKMVAs 2024 x Kodak - The #ShotOnFilm Playlist
Promonews - 29th Nov 2024
This year's UK Music Video Awards, held on October 24th, saw Kodak continue its partnership and support of the world's biggest annual celebration of music video creativity by sponsoring the Best Production Company award for the third year in succession. And a considerable number of videos nominated at the UKMVAs were, once again, shot on Kodak motion picture film stock.
With it's long history as the leading name in film in terms of production and processing for both photography and motion picture, Kodak offers products across the motion picture film workflow from capture to post. The company has been at teh forefront of the resurgence in the popularity of film across all areas of filmmaking, including music videos, over the past few years.
That popularity was reflected again in the number of nominated videos at the UKMVAs this year that were shot on film. This includes 30 separate productions that were shot on Kodak film stock that accrued an impressive 42 nominations overall. All those videos are included below in the UKMVAs 2024 x Kodak #ShotOnFilm Playlist.
“Kodak are delighted to have continued our sponsorship of the UKMVAs award for Best Production Company again this year," says Sam Clark, director of sales at Kodak Motion Picture Film UK. "We’re passionate about supporting the industry’s outstanding talent and their creative choices and thrilled to see that so many productions continue to choose to shoot on film.”
