Today is the final day to enter the UK Music Video Awards 2025, as the entry deadline for this year's UKMVAs expires at midnight (BST) - tonight, August 6th.

Among 38 categories, entries are being accepted to some of the most prestigious honours at the UKMVAs, for the Individual and Company Awards. The Individual and Company Awards are as follows: 

Best Director

Best New Director

Best Producer

Best Executive Producer

Best Commissioner

Best Production Company

In each case the award is given for a body of work over the past year, from August 1st 2024 to August 6th 2025. There is a slight crossover with the eligibility dates for last year's awards, but work that was entered last year cannot be entered again this year.

For each individual or group who are submitted for an Individual Award, or for entries to the Company award, videos must be entered with the submission: a minimum of two videos for entries into Best Director and Best New Director; a minimum of three videos for Best Producer; a minimum of five videos for Best Executive Producer and Best Commissioner; and a minimum of five videos for Best Production Company.

The final entry deadline to enter work is at today, Wednesday, August 6th at midnight. All work must be registered and uploaded by that time.

The first round of judging for this year’s UKMVAs begins approximately a week after the entry deadline – invitations to Jury Members to participate in the online judging round on the MVA judging platform have been sent out in the past few days.

With the second round of judging scheduled for next month, all nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2025 will be announced in late September - with the ceremony and aftershow party taking place at Magazine London on Thursday, October 30th 2025.
