Studio RM sponsors Best Colour Grading In A Video

Studio RM sponsors Best Colour Grading In A Video

Promonews - 6th Aug 2025

Studio RM is partnering with the UK Music Video Awards for the fifth successive year, sponsoring the award for Best Colour Grading In A Video at this year's UKMVAs.

The announcement of Studio RM's sponsorship of the prestigious award for Best Colour Grading for the fourth year in a row - and their fifth year as UKMVA partners - comes as the entry period to this year's UKMVAs reaches its final deadline, at midnight tonight (August 6th).

Founded by Robert Moore in 2010, Studio RM is an award-winning colour and finishing studio for film, print and digital, offering a high-end, artistic and curated approach. Studio RM partners artists with teams in London, New York and Paris.

The news of its partnership with the UK Music Video Awards once again comes as Studio RM has registered a growing volume of music video projects passing through its colour grading suites in the past year following the arrival of two new colourists to the London base in Jules Wileman and Jack McGinity, while Myles Bevan, now based in New York, continues to attract high profile projects.

Recent music videos colour graded at Studio RM include Myles Bevan's work on Addison Rae's High Fashion (directed by Mitch Ryan), Demi Lovato's Fast (directed by Daniel Sachon), and Drake's Nokia (directed by Theo Skudra); Jules Wileman's work on Travis Scott and Jackboys' 2000 Excursion (directed by Cactus Jack); and Jack McGinity's work on Sainté ft. Wiz Khalifa's DSM (directed by Aboveground).

“Studio RM is proud to support the UK Music Video Awards for the fifth consecutive year," says Studio RM founder Robert Moore. "Music videos remain a dynamic space where directors, DPs, and colourists come together to push creative boundaries — and colour plays a vital role in that process. It’s more than a finishing touch; it’s a narrative tool, a mood-setter, and a powerful form of artistic expression.

"Supporting the UKMVAs is our way of celebrating the collaborative spirit of this industry and championing the work of colourists – we are excited to see what this year brings!”

Entry is still open to the Best Colour Grading In A Video award, together with 37 other categories covering videos by music genre, special projects, live video, technical achievement, and individual and company awards - all via the UK Music Video Awards 2025 website until midnight tonight, August 6th.

The full list of categories at this year's UKMVAs can be found here. Information about submitting entries is here. Entries to the awards are now being accepted on the website here and here.

Once the submission period has closed, there will be two rounds of judging in most categories - with every entry being viewed and judged by members of the UKMVAs' Jury. If you would like to apply to be a Jury Member at this year’s UK Music Video Awards, email the UKMVAs team here

That will be followed an announcement of nominations in late September. Then the UK Music Video Awards 2025 ceremony will return to Magazine London in North Greenwich, on Thursday, October 30th.
