WPA - Worldwide Production Agency, leading global representatives of film production professionals - have been confirmed as partners with the UK Music Video Awards once again, sponsoring the coveted Best Producer award at this year's event.

WPA, who represent leading cinematographers, producers, production designers, costume designers and editors in the UK and globally for shortform and longform projects, will be sponsoring the prestigious Best Producer category at the UKMVAs for the ninth successive year.

The news of WPA's partnership with the UK Music Video Awards follows the announcement that the deadline for submissions to this year's UKMVAs has been extended for five days, to midnight (BST) on Tuesday, August 6th.

There is no finer way for directors, producers and HOD's to learn their trade but also to build a love and respect for Music video as a creative entity in its own right and not just a stepping stone."

The Best Producer category is one of 37 awards in all at this year's UKMVAs, including prizes for best video by music genre, technical achievement and individual and company categories.

Following the entry deadline of midnight (BST) next Tuesday, August 6th, the platform for the first round of judging will open a few days ater in most categories, with an announcement of nominations in late September. And the UK Music Video Awards 2024 ceremony will return to Magazine London, near the O2 Arena in London, on Thursday, October 24th.
