Studio RM has announced its partnership with the UK Music Video Awards for the fourth year in succession, and their sponsorship of the prestigious award for Best Colour Grading In A Video at this year's UKMVAs for the third time.

Founded by Robert Moore in 2010, Studio RM is an award-winning colour and finishing studio for film, print and digital, offering a high-end, artistic and curated approach. Studio RM partners artists with teams in London, New York, and now also in Paris, where the latest studio opened in June. 

The news of Studio RM's partnership with the UK Music Video Awards 2024 comes during a big year for the studio. Together with the opening of the new base in Paris, awards have been won at Sharks, AICP and Ciclope. The studio's increasing output of grading for music videos has included high profile promos for Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, Griff and The Dare. 

Furthermore, Studio RM's New York base is expanding, with London-based colourist Myles Bevan relocating there this month.

"Music videos provide a unique opportunity for artists to collaborate creatively and explore bold new ideas in post-production. This year, we're especially excited to see the colour grading category expand to celebrate more exceptional projects including those created on smaller budgets."

The Best Colour Grading In A Video category is one of 37 awards in all at this year's UKMVAs, including prizes for best video by music genre, technical achievement and individual and company categories.

The full range of categories can be found at the UKMVA website here. More entry info is here. Entries to the awards are now being accepted on the website, here and here. The deadline for entries is in less than a month's time - at midnight (BST) on Thursday, 1st August.

That will be followed by two rounds of judging in most categories, with an announcement of nominations in late September. And the UK Music Video Awards 2024 ceremony will return to Magazine London, near the O2 Arena in London, on Thursday, October 24th.
