There is just over one day left from today (August 7th) to the final entry deadline for the UK Music Video Awards 2023. Entries must be submitted via the UKMVAs website by midnight (BST) tomorrow, Tuesday August 8th. Among 36 categories, entries are being accepted to some of the most prestigious honours at the UKMVAs, for the Individual and Company Awards. 

The Individual and Company Awards are as follows: 

Best Director

Best New Director

Best Producer

Best Commissioner

Best Agent

Best Director of Photography

Best Production Company

In each case the award is given for a body of work over the past year, from August 1st 2022 to August 9th 2023. There is a slight crossover with the eligibility dates for last year's awards, but work that was entered last year cannot be entered again this year.

For each individual or group who are submitted for an Individual Award, or for entries to the Company award, videos must be entered with the submission: a minimum of two videos for entries into Best Director and Best New Director; a minimum of three videos for Best Producer and the Best Director of Photography; a minimum of five videos for Best Commissioner and Best Agent; and a minimum of five videos for Best Production Company.

The final entry deadline to enter work is tomorrow - Tuesday, August 8th, at midnight BST. All work must be registered and uploaded by that time.

The first round of judging for this year’s UKMVAs begins approximately a week after the entry deadline – invitations to Jury Members to participate in the online judging round on the MVA judging platform have been sent out in the past few days.

With the second round of judging scheduled for next month, all nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2023 will be announced in late September - with the ceremony and aftershow party taking place at Magazine London, near the O2 Arena, on Thursday, October 26th 2022.
