With the deadline for entries to this year's UKMVAs just over a week away, on August 3rd, leading international fashion magazine and website i-D has confirmed its partnership with the UKMVAs once again, by sponsoring the Best Wardrobe Styling in a Video award at the UK Music Video Awards 2022.

Having sponsored the Best Styling award for a number of years, i-D are supporting the award again, which for the second year running is focussed entirely upon wardrobe styling and costume design. Best Wardrobe Styling is one of a range of 10 craft categories at the UKMVAs -  honouring technical achievement in a specific discipline on a single video.

The other craft categories celebrate the best work in Animation, Choreography, Cinematography, Colour Grading, Editing, Hair & Makeup, Performance, Production Design and VFX. These are among 37 categories in all, including music genre, and individual and company categories, that can be entered via the UK Music Video Awards website. 

Sylvia Hong, Head of Video of i-D, says: "i-D always championed emerging talent and creativity in all forms, whether it’s in front or behind the camera. As lines between fashion and music are progressively blurred we can think of no better award to be affiliated than the Wardrobe Styling category."

The deadline for entries is at midnight (BST) on Tuesday, August 3rd. That will be followed by two rounds of judging in most categories, with an announcement of nominations in late September.

This year's UKMVAs awards ceremony will take place for the first time at Magazine London on Thursday, on October 27th 2022.
