Stitch Editing has announced the arrival of Samuel Marr - an editor who has built an impressive music video showreel over the past few years - to its Stitch and Homespun rosters.

His credits include cutting videos for pop giants Sam Smith, Little Mix, Years & Years, Becky Hill and numerous others, regularly working with leading music video directors including Samuel Douek, Fred Rowson and Raja Virdi. Samuel has also built an enviable portfolio of commercials, includes films for Rexona, Virgin Red and Remy Martin, working with directors such as Rowson, Tash Tung and Ulf Johansson.

Samuel’s career was originally in theatre production in Ireland, and that led him to pursue opportunities in Irish Language Television. He had begun editing seriously while working on projects at university, and from TV he made a seamless transition to becoming a music video editor, fired by his personal passion for music. Recent projects include Samuel Douek's video for Galantis X David Guetta X Little Mix’s smash hit Heartbreak Anthem.

“Samuel’s reputation precedes him, and we are delighted to be adding him to our line-up of editors," says Stitch Editing MD Angela Hart. "His dynamic style adds another string to our bow, while his experience cutting exceptional music videos made the decision a no-brainer.
