The new episode of The Promonews Podcast: Talking Music Videos is out today, featuring a conversation with one of the most experienced and influential independent director's representatives working in UK music videos - and winner of Best Agent at last year's UKMVAs - Sam Davey.

Sam Davey has been representing music video directors via independent agents OB Management since the mid-Noughties, playing a crucial role in bringing artists, labels and directors together, and being involved in the making of hundreds of videos over that period.

In the latest of the current series of interviews with figures in the music video industry, in association with Loop Talent, Promonews' David Knight and Rob Ulitski talked to Sam Davey a few weeks after his UKMVAs win in November, to find out more about his work, to gain an insight in what he looks for in a director, and his views on the state of music video production right now, from his unique vantage point.

This episode in the third series of The Promonews Podcast: Talking Music Videos, sponsored by Loop Talent, follows the first two episodes featuring director and creative director Nathan James Tettey, released in December, and director KC Locke, released last month.
