UK Music Video Awards 2020: four days left to enter - including 18 Best Video awards!
There are now just over four days left (from today, August 3rd) to enter work in most of the awards categories at the UK Music Video Awards 2020, the premiere awards show for music video creativity in Britain and beyond.
This includes an expanded section of eighteen Best Video awards. Each music genre – Pop, R&B/Soul, Dance/Electronic, Rock, Alternative and Hip Hop/Grime/Rap – each offers three awards: one for UK, International and Newcomer videos.

Each video can only be entered into one of the above categories. A UK award is given to a video for a UK artist, an International award is given to a video for a non-UK artist, and a Newcomer award is given to a video for either a UK or International artist made for a budget under GB£8,000 (or non-sterling equivalent), and are all categories designed to recognise newcomer directing talent.
Each video has to be have been completed and delivered to the commissioning company between the dates of August 1st 2019 and July 31st 2020.
All US-originated videos entered in the UKMVAs will also be automatically entered into the MVPA Awards.

Then go to the enter now page of the website to enter a video in any of these categories, or in the Technical Achievement, Special Project, Live, Lockdown, Music Film, Individual and Company categories.
The final entry deadline to enter work is this Friday, August 7th, at midnight BST. All work must be registered and uploaded by that time.
The first round of judging for this year’s MVAs begins approximately a week after the entry deadline – invitations to Jury Members to participate in the online judging round on the MVA judging platform have been sent out in the past few days.
And the UK Music Video Awards 2020 ceremony and aftershow party is currently scheduled to take place for the fifth time at the legendary Roundhouse in London on Thursday, October 29th 2020. More information on the plans for the event in the coming weeks.
