PPL is the latest organisation to partner with the UK Music Video Awards 2017, sponsoring the award for Best Urban Video UK at the UKMVAs ceremony taking place next month. 

PPL is the UK music industry’s collective management organisation (CMO) for tens of thousands of performers and record companies, licensing recorded music in the UK for playing in public, or broadcast on BBC and commercial radio and TV. PPL has a market-leading international collections business, with 84 agreements in place across 40 countries, helping members to maximise their revenue when their repertoire is played overseas. PPL collected £212.1 million in the UK and internationally in 2016 and paid over 92,000 performers and record companies.

Nominations for Best Urban Video UK award, together with all the categories at this year's awards, were announced at the UKMVAs17 nominations party at The Mill last Thursday (September 21st).

The UK Music Video Awards 2017 ceremony takes place on October 26th at the legendary Roundhouse in London, and tickets for the event can now be booked at the UKMVAs website.
