UK Music Video Awards 2016: MPC sponsors Best Director award at the UKMVAs
MPC, one of the biggest post production facilities in the world, is sponsoring the Best Director award at the UK Music Video Awards 2016.
Worldwide Production Agency, leading representatives of film production professionals – including producers, cinematographers and production designers – are the latest company to partner with the UK Music Video Awards 2016.
In their second successive year as sponsors, WPA are sponsoring the Best Producer award at this year's UKMVAs. Barnaby Laws, MD of WPA's London office, has expressed his delight at the company's partnership with the most important awards show celebrating the breadth of creativity in music video production in the UK and worldwide.
"It's always great to be involved with the UKMVAs," says Laws. "I have grown up in promos, and that's where many of my best relationships and long term clients come from. As WPA London has developed, it's important to still be supporting music videos and the opportunities they allow.
"The people I look after, whether they are Producers, Directors of Photography or Production Designers, all feel they can still flex their creative muscles on promos and love the opportunity. Sponsoring the Best Producer award at the UKMVAs is a great way to recognise the unique talent that we have in London, and arguably the most vibrant music video industry in the world.”

WPA are the latest award sponsors to be announced for this year's UK Music Video Awards, which takes place in London on October 20th 2016. Tickets for this year's award ceremony and aftershow party - held for the second year running at the legendary Roundhouse in Chalk Farm – are now on sale.
Meanwhile, voting continues on many of the categories at this year's UKMVAs, including for Best Producer. MVA jury members who have been asked to judge a best video or technical achievement category on the MVA voting platform have until midnight tonight (September 1st, BST) to submit their votes, if they have not yet done so.
These votes will determine the shortlists in each category. A further round of judging, commencing next week, will decide the winners of each award. The nominations for this year's UK Music Video Awards will be announced on September 21st.
