The deadline for entries to the UK Music Video Awards 2015 is now just two weeks from today (July 22nd), with invitations to submit in over 30 categories at this year's UKMVAs, open until midnight (BST) on Wednesday, August 5th.
Once again at the UK Music Video Awards – the premier awards show celebrating the best work in music videos from the UK and around the world – there are honours for best British, International and Budget video in each music genre: Pop, Dance, Urban, Indie/Rock, and Alternative. There are also eight awards recognising technical excellence; plus honours for Best Interactive video, Live Coverage; and there's two brand new awards – Best Music Documentary and Best Lyric Video.
Furthermore for the second year, the UKMVAs are accepting entries for the Individual award categories, for Best Director, New Director, Producer, Commissioner, and Music Artist.

All entered work must have been completed and delivered to its commissioner between August 1st 2014 and July 31st 2015 – so work completed and approved in the next few days up to and including July 31st will be eligible for this year’s MVAs, but not after that date.
Full definitions of all the categories are available at ukmva.com/categories, and terms and conditions for the awards are here. Submission of entries - either for a video entry, or an individual - is also made via the UK Music Video Awards website, here.
The cost of each entry is £65+VAT - the same as in the last two years. If you’re in any doubt about the eligibility of your entry, or have any other queries, please contact the MVAs team on email@example.com.
After the entry deadline, the first round of judging for the UK Music Video Awards 2015 will take place in August, with invited MVA Jury Members judging all the entries via the MVAs online voting platform in the first round of judging. A second round of judging will follow in September, with the nominations for this year's UKMVAs will be announced in early October.
The ceremony itself and the afterparty of the UK Music Video Awards 2015 takes place for the first time at the legendary Roundhouse in London on Thursday, November 5th.
