Island Studios, the film and television studio facilities with complexes in London, Manchester and South Africa, has come on board as a partner to the UK Music Video Awards 2014, sponsoring the Best Producer award at this year's UKMVAs.  

With the iconic Black Island and Dukes Island in London, and stages in Manchester, Cape Town and Johannesburg, Island Studios are sponsoring an award at the UK Music Video Awards for the first time.

The company's association with the British music video industry goes back a long way. Black Island Studios has been the venue for hundreds of music video shoots in its 20-plus year history.

Steve Giudici, the Studios' Managing Director said: "Music videos have always been part of our client base at Black Island and we both recognise and applaud the creative talent that works in music videos and are pleased help support the UKMVAs."

The UK Music Video Awards 2014, takes place in just three weeks time on Monday November 10th at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in the Southbank Centre, and tickets for the ceremony and aftershow are on sale now at the UKMVAs website.  

Joint tickets for the UKMVAs and the inaugural Music Vid Fest - a one-day conference focusing on the business of music video creativity at the BFI Southbank during the day of November 10th – are also available from the UKMVAs website.
