David Knight - 30th Oct 2013

It was the night of the year for British music videos, and the sixth annual UK Music Video Awards on Monday night (October 28th) did not disappoint, with fireworks (literally), laughs, surprises, much joy, raucously loud French people, and lots of first-time MVA winners. And, of course, serious partying...

It was the first UKMVAs to be held at Queen Elizabeth Hall in the Southbank Centre - by common consent the best venue yet for the show. And you can catch the flavour of the ceremony with this photostream of the night's winners, starting with host Adam Buxton poised to hand over the first award of the night...

The photos are by Ben Meadows - and a full list of winners are here.
