Entry deadline for the UK Music Video Awards 2013 in a wide range of categories is now less than two weeks away. The deadline for entry to this year's UKMVAs is next Friday, August 2nd.

Once again at the UK Music Video Awards – the premier awards show celebrating the best work in music videos from the UK and around the world – there are honours for best British, International and Budget video in each music genre: Pop, Dance, Urban, Indie/Rock, and Alternative. There are also eight awards recognising technical excellence, plus honours for best interactive video (a new award), live coverage and music ad. The UK Music Video Awards 2013 website is now accepting entries for the following honours:

Best pop video – UK, international, budget

Best alternative video – UK, international, budget
Best dance video – UK, international, budget

All entered work must have been completed and delivered to its commissioner between August 1st 2012 and July 31st 2013 – so work completed and approved in the next few days up to and including July 31st will be eligible for this year’s MVAs, but not after that date.

Entry forms are to be found and completed at www.ukmva.com, and terms and conditions for entering the awards are here.

Following the submission deadline, judging will begin for this year’s UK Music Video Awards, with invited MVA Jury Members judging all the entries via the MVAs online voting platform in the first round of judging.

A second round of judging will follow where jury panels will meet to judge shortlisted work. Nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2013 will be announced in late September, ahead of the awards ceremony at a brand new venue in late October. Full details to be announced on Promo News shortly.
