Tinchy Stryder & Dappy's Spaceship by Luke+Barber – now signed to Davey Inc
Directing duo Luke+Barber - that's Luke Monaghan and James Barber - have signed to Davey Inc, and have already completed two videos at their new home - the first for Tinchy Styder's Spaceship.
Featuring a co-starring role for N-Dubz rapper Dappy, Luke and James refrained from the sci-fi approach in favour of shooting the boys larking around gorgeous Portofino in Italy - complete with yachts, luxury cars and very fit ladies.
With experience creative directing for Nike and Casio G-Shock, becoming a contributor at British GQ (Luke) and taking photographs for brands such as Kurt Geiger whilst finishing his degree at Central St Martins (James), the two 22 year olds first collaborated on the video for rising star Yasmin's debut single On My Own, which has since gone on to clock up over 1.7 million views on YouTube.
Luke+Barber's cinematic style is also evident in their other new video for Mercury artist Dot Rotten (for whom they are overseeing creative direction). This Tinchy and Dappy promo has also received well over a million views on YouTube.
