Gaga’s Bad Romance rules the VMAs 2010 with seven Moonmen

In keeping with its online performance as one of the most successful videos ever on YouTube, the Francis Lawrence-directed video for Bad Romance won VMAs for best female video, best pop video, best dance video, best choreography, best editing, best direction and video of the year - the highest number of awards won by a single video at the VMAs in years.
Gaga won an eighth award too - best collaboration for Telephone, her Jonas Akerlund-directed video with Beyoncé.
Among the remaining awards in the professional categories at the VMAs, there was British success when the LEGS-directed video for Florence & The Machine's Dog Days Are Over won best art direction, by Louise Corcoran and Aldene Johnson.
Muse's Uprising won best sfx, by Humble, and Jay Z and Alicia Keys' Empire State Of Mind won best cinematography, by John Perez.
